    What coins are good for CPU mining?

      What coins make most profits/coins using just the CPU?

      Only one I can think of is Quark coins, don’t know any other ones?

      Can someone help out here?

        Did a little digging around and found these coins that can be good mining with cpu

        Quark (QRK)
        SecureCoin (SRC)
        Sifcoin (SIC)
        MemoryCoin (MEG)

        I don’t know myself though, I’ve only mined LTC in the past and now just FTC.

                  The only coins associated with FTC are

                  Phoenixcoin : Resurected by FTC developer : Ghostlander
                  Catcoin : One of Developers : FTCs : Zerodrama

                  Both are mineable at low difficulty.

                  Phoenixcoin was one of the first currencies to be re birthed successfully, and has a number of good enhancements. It is particularly good tha Ghostlander did this, after the Feathercoin and Phoenixcoin members were let down by UNOCs

                  i.e. To pay back for JABOT of FTC (in) fame, dragging us into UNOCs. (Stupid name not my idea)

                  ACP was patched from Primecoin, although Sunny’s sectrecy and JABOTs involvement put me off. Still searching for a secure / more than half backed sha256 alternate to emerge.

                    New coin coming out that is said to be CPU only for a while at least is maxcoin. Comes out 7th Feb wallet and miner released 5th Feb.

                    Looks legit but who knows.
