When will FTC come back?

looks like ftc is doomed, even the minning diff is dropping fast
Give it some time, it will take quite a while before we break off the big whales hoarding the coins.
Like LiteCoin too. :P -
Yeah, what level is considered too easy almost again or dangerously low at this point, if ever? It was around 203 early today and has dropped to 163 here now, with 149 being next in 5 hours or so. Lowest I’ve ever seen it since Nov/Dec.
Should we be concerned about that?
-
Maybe its because of the disappearance of FTC at CoinMarketCap and some coin jumpers were not mining it?
-
That difficulty won’t stay too low for long. The second the work/value ratio dips around DOGE levels Multipool by itself will dump 20,000 MHs on it and stragglers will follow along until it averages out.
That’s not even taking into consideration hashco.ws or middlecoin.
-
Hash rate is up to 7.8GHs right now - if this stays stable it’s a new record!
Last time I thought something like this based on things I saw on BTC-e, I was so wrong + lost potential profit of around 13K US$. :) But that’s another story…
when people are greedy, that’s when you ought to be fearful.
I usually buy things only when its low or after a crash, and having a good knowledge of it. Instead of simply following anal-yst or trollbox blindly ;Dsuch as my investment on Nokia shares at $2 USD (now $8), Microsoft at $29 (now $36), National Bank of Greece $4.1 (now 5.3), Telsa at $130 each after it fell from $190. (Now $177) :P
Now a bit of Feathercoin, and other alternative currency. As for Bitcoin, I have some money in there for the bots to roll it automatically for me.

Buy wall at .00036 that was 400 BTC is now just 139 and seems to be falling faster now… Good news for us.

Excuse my ignorance, but what exactly is the buy wall?
In short a buy order was setup on BTCE for 400BTC worth of FTC. It has pulled the price down to that level as it outpaced all higher sell orders.
It is now just 85ish so it may be gone today allowing more fluid trading possibly. Big volume for FTC can occur, price can freely move up again, possibly faster.

Hey guyz, who here wants the price of Feathercoin to go up? I have an idea.
Sorry to single out this one post…but Feathercoin is not doomed at all.
So the trading value went down for a week or two? Not really a big deal. It will come back up, because this coin and its team are awesome. There is value in Feathercoin, and sooner or later it will be recognized in the trading price.
Until then, it’s time to keep building FTC up in every way we can.
But why try and take control of events when it is much easier (and lazier) to lay back and be affected by them? Why look at the long term when we can just fixate on the short term and trade noise?
You’re making it sound like we are free and independent rather than slaves to the environment or something.

Good point.

I invested a bit in NXT to help me with the boredom. I wish I could come up with something worth something for FTC, but so far I got nothing. I’m not a salesperson - I generally hate people that try push me things I didn’t ask, so there’s no way I’m going to start spamming people or take a part in such a thing.Meanwhile, chrisj, did you have a look at this: http://www.patreon.com/ ?
I think there’s something there. The idea just screams for a cryptocoin.
NXT is pre mined… I bet the original investors can’t wait to dump that coin asap.
It’ll have to drop to almost nothing before rising again -
If you want FTC to go up in price SPEND THEM!

@ChrisJ: I totally agree with post #30. It is strange how few people want to spend their feathercoins to help build the coins value. There are a lot of coins out there that could be spent. I believe it can skyrocket in value like BTC eventually but it needs merchant adoption first. I am developing a site that will allow people to buy goods and services with FTC as well as LTC and BTC. At this point I haven’t had any hits on my previous attempts to accept FTC for transactions. I’ve sold lots of items for BTC on the other hand. I know the price is depressed at the moment compared to November, but someone has to spend in order to help show awareness for the market. I don’t want FTC to be another coin that is only used for arbitrage between exchanges. I would gladly spend my FTC hoard if there were merchants that had realistic prices and goods/services I can use.Rob
Spending the coins isn’t the problem in regards to it’s volume. There were huge FTC whales on every exchange that trades it. Currently, on CoinMKT.com for USD however there are 30,000 coins up for sale at every cent from .26-.34. This type of behavior will relegate us to nothingness. If you want to know how BTC got to it’s levels just look at it’s history. (Hence, it wasn’t because people decided to spend BTC)…
