QT wallet Voting tab?
-
I would like to pitch an idea… Just brainstorming. That’s all.
I saw an image of memory coins wallet… They have inbuilt voting.

I know nothing about it, was just wondering, could we implement this in time?
Is it worth it?
How could it be used?
Would LINK and FLUX make it better?
-
What could that tap used for?
No Idea, what I could vote for in my Wallet…
-
Sure.
Doing a Link integration in the client wouldn’t be too terribly difficult. There’s a donation address for “Upvoting/Downvoting content in Link”, for which I have envisioned a solution, but haven’t written it down yet. http://blockchain-link.com/#future

I dont think that we need this in our Client. The Client should only be used for transactions/storing. If I introduce Feathercoin and the Wallet to someone whos never been involved in crypto or technical things, it needs to be easy, clean interface and a voting system to vote for complex ideas/LINK/FLUX/WHATEVER. I think thats the wrong place.
Just my opinion.

I agree, but it may be possible to have plug-ins to the wallet eventually to cover other functionality.
Perhaps the wallet will becomes more a like safe, securely storing all your money, documents and voting preferences.

As a longtime MemoryCoin supporter and a candidate for CMO position, I must say the coin should be a DAC before implementing this feature.
DAC (Decentralized Autonomous Company/Community) is a company which its board of members are selected with community support. However, the weight of votes depends on your mining capabilities or your investment. You can find more information about DACs on google. MMC was a good project but couldn’t resist against attacks and failed unfortunately.
