Would you purchase Blu-Ray/DVDs with your FTC ?

I would definitive buy Blurays with ftc if the price was right (Home Theater geek). BUT as it seems with everything in this crypto regime you need to live in the UK to spend it.
I take it you are not in the UK then ?
thats correct:)
i prefer uncompressed physical medium.
i do occationaly hire them from apple/other media, or download pirate if its “hd” quality
But if i like the movie i buy it for my collection:) -
No thanks, I just download. Nothing to do with the future of FTC , I just don’t want to buy them.
-
UltraViolet film codes from UK i would be interested in!
-
I might be able to help you with some … I will see which I have and get back to you in a bit
-
No probably not, but streaming services would be very interesting.

No, but I’d gladly pay for my streaming/on demand services with FTC. My internet connection too.

I am very disappointed at the lack of response to this … It seems nobody is interested in spending FTC which leads me to question its future as a currency. Are 99% just holding coins as speculation for a profit.
I allocate 30% of my monthly pull from mining for the purchase of physical goods or internet services, on the marketplace and off. Sometimes that means to convert FTC to a company that only accepts BTC, but I go ahead and swallow that pill.On weekends I babysit the counter of a game/video store and they’re always eager for me to bring in product for resale, and I’m willing to pay crypto for something that’ll net me cash BUT:
- I live in America and shipping discs to me is cost prohibitive.
- I live in America and it’s likely there’s region differences between the discs in the UK and here, especially for AAA titles.
- I never pay retail cost for anything entertainment, ever. Simply because I can’t afford to. And when someone tells me the same, I make it work for both of us. FFS, I moved an Xbox One game on the Feathercoin marketplace for what was essentially my cost when divided up in the lot I got it in (about $30) and then covered the shipping in order to make an auction that went wrong on reserve pricing be a positive experience for the buyer. Why? Because I do have confidence that the FTC someone pays me today will be worth more in the future. I would never, ever, ever recommend to someone else to use their resources like that, though, because I don’t want that blood on my hands.
I had those things in mind, which is why I skipped over the bulk of your post from the get go. It wasn’t for me; but here’s your reasons why.

I have had to re-post this in this catagory because I do not think it is getting any exposure tucked away under the marketplace one … Anyway:Please could you leave a response if you are in the UK and would be interested in buying Blu-Ray/DVD’s on the Feathercoin marketplace, if there was a good quality selection to choose from …?
I am thinking of listing used Blu-Ray/DVD’s on the marketplace and just wanted to do a little research to find out if there will be enough interest first.
I do not know how many members are actively looking on the marketplace, and of course then people need to be interested in purchasing Blu-Rays/DVD’s, and also have Feathercoins to spend too …Obviously if Feathercoin is going to move forward as a currency then people really need to be able to exchange them for real goods and services, and the way I see it is that Blu-Ray/DVD’s are a very popular consumer item. Hopefully some of you would like to spend your hard earned coins on boosting your movie collection ;D
So if this is something that would interest you please just leave a response.
As an additional note I have sold movies and games for years on eBay and offer a fast and professional service. Prices would be highly competitive too.
If any of the admin team have any information that they could send to me regarding marketplace visitor numbers, sales figures etc. I would be very grateful as it could help me gauge how much traffic there is and weather it would be worth my time. As you will appreciate it would actually take quite a great deal of time and effort to list a large amount of stock on the marketplace.
Thanks :)
Hmmm, i’m not in the UK but I’m not sure you’ll get the best answers from this crowd I’d suspect. I’d consider most people using/mining FTC or any coins to be more “tech-wavy” or at least a “medium-adopter” of technology. I was all about Blu-ray maybe 5 years ago but now I just get everything digitally, whether I download it or just know it is available from a trusted source (e.g. like Apple, Google, etc.). I mean, most laptops don’t even come with drives now from Apple and other’s as well lately…
With that, I wouldn’t count on too much response. It could be valuable for large collectable sets, but that may be a niche market.
I agree if I could spend any crypto to buy things like clothes, sneakers, digital movies, digital albums, I would spend ftc too. I’m talking polo or gucci belts, albums like on itunes, air jordans, and foamposites. I think feathercoin should redesign the market as a whole and compete with amazon, ebay, online retailers, bigcartel, itunes, etc.
