FTC mining profitability just surpassed LTC mining profits any thoughts on that?

Do you guys think will it stay that way, will more miners switch to FTC mining soon?

mining profitability goes back and forth all the time . i was thinking that if or when the market gets flooded with fpga-asic scrypt miners , a lot of the dedicated litecoin gpu miners with switch to feathercoin . that will drive ftc difficulty up for sure. I think that’s plaussible enough . Difficulty does not always go hand in hand with fiat exchange rates but it collerates with the value of the coin nontheless

I hope I didn’t cause any offense. It’s just I’ve always wanted to do that. =^-^=
That’s what I always say to other people. Higher difficulty means lower supply which means higher price in turn.

Once again, I don’t want to cause any offense, but 90% of the questions I see get asked either directly to myself or anywhere on the boards, can be answered by simply copy and pasting directly to google, hit search then pick the top 3 or 4 links.
10 years ago, there was no google or a person who can spoon feed you the answer…
But yeah. It’s ok though. Asking questions is good.
I second that notion.
When/if people receive their scrypt asics, I can imagine all scrypt coins incl ltc will find a new level in price…
if scrypt asic miners become available then they will miner ftc as well i can assure you that. The price will go up but us gpu miners will have a tough time. although the asic miners for scrypt are not going to be such a drastic change like they were with btc,it will still drive the difficulty up some. I know i wouldnt mind getting a few asics to save on power and lower the heat. -
Thus why us GPU miners of today are trying to mine all that we can before we can’t effectively do it anymore :-)
The R9 290 is great, but they are LOUD! I’m running two now and getting ~877kH/s from each.

Yeah i know i have one already going at 880 at 5100 rpm and 78 c
Good thing it is in the basement.
Another great thing about living in a cold country is that you just change the heater with a mining rig. Not the same, but gives off quite some warm air also.
It’s not JUST the lower supply, it’s the higher cost too. A higher difficulty means more electricity is required to make the same amount of coins.
In general it has been better to mine FTC over the last few months, it does change a lot.
