Action Needed - Feathercoin Facebook Page
-
Friends,
After successfully getting our Twitter Page off of the scammer I am still trying to get him off of Facebook.
I have just sent Facebook a lengthy email detailing the violation and my personal contact details. Please be kind enough to go here:
https://www.facebook.com/Feathercoin
1. Go to the right of the page where it says “Messages”
2. Click on the little arrow to the right and then select
3. This is Spam or a scam (or one that you feel is more appropriate)Let’s get this nailed, please report here after you are done.
Thank-you so much.
Chris
EDIT:
Just realised I do in fact have a few old friends working at Facebook. I will email them on LinkedIn now, please get as many people as you can to flag this page. Cheers. -
Hi Chris, all done :D

Done :)

Tried many times Chris. Email and reporting haven’t worked for me. Hopefully a few folk doing this will help the cause.

thank-you so much to all those who have tried, it seems Facebook will be a harder nut to crack than Twitter.

Facebook is run by a bunch of useless English uncomprehending oafs. Complaining does little, you almost have to force legal action upon them to get them to get off their collective asses.

^ lol, trust me, facebook does not like boobies,
Hey man, I really admire your dedication and support but could you please take those images down before the squatter notices as all it will do is antagonise him and make the situation worse. Also it doesn’t look very good on us and it might make Facebook not want us to be there.

Why the issue?Anyone can create a FB page about any interest they might have. I don’t see they are scamming – what makes you believe this is the case?
He was trying to get money out of us for it and someone might go to the page thinking it represents us when it doesn’t. It’s not even about getting the name it’s just the misrepresentation that bothers me.
