Bitcoiners donate to WikiLeaks to support Edward Snowden

I’ve been thinking how we could integrate donations into Feathercoin - with the least, or no changes to the basic code.
My best idea would be to have p2donate, it pays a small fee to the operator. Donations are requested against a Wallet number, they can be highlighted in the block chain, so the in and out is proved. Any donations will be allowed, but a donation can be tagged as official, if confirmed. The IP of the donation request is stored, to reduce fraud.
Like p2pool you could be paid a small fee for operating it. It is similar to another coin idea I had called bitvote, where anyone could set up a p2peer vote, which happened for a period, and showed votes in block chain. I think the p2donate is less intrusive as any coin could be used, but it would be great if Feathercoin were first to do some novel things like that.

ugh… no way I’m donating feathercoin, bitcoin, or anything else to Snowden, other than perhaps a bitch slap to the back of the head.

Please re-read his post, he’s using Snowden as an ** example ** of what’s being done with Bitcoin.

Please keep politics in off topic. This thread was exploring donating options that could be support by Feathercoin… not to any one individual or group in particular.
