7 BTC bounty: Develop website for direct fiat-\>FTC

We are searching webdevelopers/webdesigners who can see the mutual benefits between the FTC community and our company in creating a direct EUR->FTC website in Europe.
We are currently working with lawyers on the legal paperwork to obtain a license for a registered currency exchange, and will charter the LLC Company in a few weeks.
We have the legal framework, the necessary funding and a skilled team of entrepreneurs with experience in startup, but we lack skilled programmers with experience in cryptocurrencies.

We believe that eliminating the fiat->exchange->BTC/LTC->FTC pathway European customers must take in order to obtain FTC will greatly benefit the Feathercoin.
We can supply the domain, hosting, funding and legal framework for providing a direct EUR->FTC sales website. Payments can be made by using Sofort Banking, which will enable us to sell the FTC directly to our customers in a matter of minutes, without the risk of chargeback usually associated with credit cards and PayPal.

Vircurex already allows people to directly buy FTC (and many other cryptos) with USD or EUR. However, they require you deposit money using VouchX, a company I am not familiar with.

VouchX sends you an unencrypted e-mail with a coupon code for charging vircurex, and vircurex leaves a lot to be wanted for especially for european customers.

Our goal is to create a user friendly site that focuses on selling FTC directly to people using payment methods that will enable us to confirm payments within seconds. So I still believe that there are opportunities for improvement on the market.

I think is a great idea, but the bounty should be in FTC, not BTC.
6500 FTC bounty sounds much better, or whatever amount you suggest.

Of course, with the system we can easily convert between any currency. With the push messages from the bank confirming coverage for the order we should be able to transfer coins in less than a minute after order completion.

Not necessarily. Look at https://www.bitcoin.de/en. They are very popular in Germany / Europe.

It’s more like an escrow service - so they don’t need a bank license.

Maybe we could do something like this for a start?

It’s true that most of us experience ridiculous fees when we are exchanging through a bank as private costumers. The fees that Sofort AG bank are writing however are reasonable. They have divisions in more than 8 European countries which hopefully will make exchanging between currencies easier. However there are still details about their API and fee structure which is currently unclear as we have not chartered the company yet, and they are not talking to privates without a registration number. Hopefully we will have that fixed in 2 weeks.

You are absolutely right that a 7 BTC bounty wouldn’t pay for the legal paperwork. That is something we are paying from our fiat bank account right now. The 7 BTC bounty is intended for those who develop the website.

Going “legal” is expensive and limits what services we can bring people, but we want to avoid anything like bitcoin24 happening to Feathercoin. Having a company shut down due to lack of paperwork and peoples fund frozen creates a lot of mistrust, so we are choosing to spend a large part of the budget on legal paperwork before we even consider chartering the company.
