Strong walls melting away ...

and slowly ftc seems to go where it come from … on the other side big sell walls appear.
Additionally the voices about ftc got silent …???
Whatever we saw in the last days, was this a planed pump, or maybe a reaction because of the attack?Im just a curious noob, thx alot

We just opened our market and we are planning new features. We are at the part where we show our stuff.
We were at .00068 a few days ago, considering the massive attacks against us, I feel we’re doing just fine. Bushstar is working on long term solutions, personally, I’m not the least bit concerned. We’re building the right infrastructure which is key.
-
I am no expert but I would say the attacks helped. Also the difficult of mining and profitability margin has shrunk quite a bit see : http://dustcoin.com/mining. People are probably dumping as the price falls.
I think FTCs are here to stay. Its come a long way in a few short weeks but Lycanthroat correct. You never know.
Thats because we are tired of arguing with idiots. At this point its up to your judgment.
Personally, does it matter to you if it falls to, say, 0.00095? You won’t lose anything if you don’t sell. And in the long term its going to go way up.
Remember, its only a 2 month old coin. There will be lots of bumps on the way. You need to be patient if you want to get rewarded big time.
I am not suggesting you to sell your house for FTC (though Justabit may be doing that). Keep hold of a few - its cheap anyway - and enjoy the ride.
I am actually working with btc-e.com/disableChat
Sorry for not getting involved more in the trollbox. But its difficult to stay long there surrounded by so much stupidity. I only go there so that noobs are not fooled into selling it and regretting later. At this point I think we have got the word out and its upto them. -

What will bring back the buyers? The Feather Market? I guess it has to be buyers first, then when the profit margin is better, then the miners? I liked the push towards the media, it was very professional with the interviews and visibility.
It could if they wanted to buy stuff. Personally I think it’ll be a little bit of everything we do that brings people back. A little bit of publicity, a little bit of the market, a little bit of getting merchants to adopt Feathercoin, a little bit more trust, etc. Btw, saw you yesterday during the aftermath of the attack at the troll box defending FTC before even signing up at the forums, thanks for that :)

FTC is fine. Don’t be afraid.
Also, Bushstar was just on letstalkbitcoin. Adoption and growth doesn’t happen overnight.
I think the ebay and amazon would be a good example.
When the Feathercoin Market hits, the value of feathercoin in USD will increase. -
All valid concerns. As for btc-e, I disable chat myself most the time.
Thanks for the pep talk, and I do agree, I like his aggressive media push, but I would hate to think the early adopters and supporters are being manipulated so you can make your money.
That’s the beauty of division of labor. It’s not his aggressive media push, it’s mine. I also can’t be accused of premine because I’ve never mined in my life (that’s about to change wooo) I bought my first Feathercoins from XorXor on Bitcointalk, I was such a ‘noob’ as the kids say. :)
If by “you” you mean me, then let me assure you that I’m not manipulating the FTC prices. I see something special in Feathercoin and I’m in this for the long haul. I almost never pump coins. It screws up the pricing for weeks/months to follow.
Good to hear, Atlas. So that means that the pricing will be screwed up for a while then, eh.
I don’t think we need to worry too much about the pricing at this point. The players who were pumping it seem to have almost completely cashed out already, but this is just speculation. I’d be more interested in development projects that are in the works to enrich the world of Feathercoin. The prices on the exchange are purely a reflection of some perceived or inherent value.
We can play our little day trading game till the cows come home, but that’s not going to give the coin any real value. It’ll just be a form of distributed price inflation, where all the day traders are engaging in some disorganized pump and dump. Think about launching FTC services and the higher prices will follow.
Excellent approach, then! I think that just adds more visibility and legitimacy to feathercoin :) I’m a noob as well (which is fairly obvious), but I love the idea of a small group of people forging ahead into the darkness of uncharted territory with the uncertainty of success.
I’ve exchanged Bitcoin prior in person, just never through some fan crazed site… that was interesting. ;) As far as leading large grassroots campaigns and massive IT related projects, that’s my comfort zone. We all started from ground zero, we’ll help each other get there… no doubt.
We all work here. Effectively we all compete here. In other words, no one is stopping you from taking us in a new direction. I can tell you, I don’t join cheerleading armies. I came here to work. As for the money I can turn the work into money.
Roll up 'dem sleeves. I’m not doing this because I feel obligated nor because I can make a lot of money. I’m doing it because none of the other currencies want to have developers and users at the same table. I’m here because this is the only place where people work together on the actual currency. The rest are 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% leaders and 9.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999 chatters.

The trolls/fudsters are out and in full force.
It is a good sign when you are being attacked for the right reasons. Now that I’ve seen it on different levels in the past few days I am convinced, FTC has a future. We just need to get it right the first time and not mess up along the way.
-
Thx to all for your point of view.
Look at that beautifully bottom of around 500btc at .001-.00098, someone really seems to believe and wants to avoid the price to fall.
A stable basis over days is a good sign to get attention of new investors, jmo -
Way back up is getting harder and harder …
