Exclusive Products on Feathercoin Market Place
-
Friends,
An idea came to me that to really get the market place off the ground we could sell something highly sought after and that can’t be bought anywhere else or that is very rare. So unless you have Feathercoin you can’t get it.
Can we make a list of what these items might be. I would be happy to go out of my way to source something and then sell it on there.
Normally I would say Silver or Gold but right now they are rare but also easy to get hold of!! But it could also be things like event tickets, memorabilia like autographs, limited edition items, ASIC Miner lol oh the irony of someone sticking up an BFL box would be hilarious.
Your thoughts please…

I feel like the most rare items are those that aren’t items at all, but rather services. Basically everything that’s a physical good is mass produced and is capable of being bought online in at least 20 different places (even drugs: SR, Atlantis, etc…). Services on the other hand, are the most rare goods that could ever be purchased since you’re essentially buying someone’s time (an invaluable item). I was thinking maybe mining rig setup or other configuration services might be a good start. You could extend this over to an infinite amount of other industries. Imagine having your porch sanded and stained for Feathercoin. The problem is that we are a very diffusely scattered crowd, and offering services that require physical presence would make it close to impossible to deliver at the moment. This is why we would have to probably focus on things that can be transferred over the internet. Web development services, other development, large media file hunting and delivery (music/movies/applications)…I don’t know, just throwing some ideas out there. What do you think?

[/quote]Yes you’re right. Would you be prepared to do dev services like home pages or something for FTC for limited time? Maybe we could do like an odesk like situation but have it be for fixed briefs.

How about domain names?
