Update: Not a bug, just a ‘Dutch Auction’
Recommendation: Remove – Could be very confusing (UKMark and I agree)

3. I’m bidding 1800 (minimum is 1650 FTC)
4. View Confirm_Bid.jpg attachment
5. I click confirm for 1800 (notice it now increments it to 1850 FTC min)
6. View After.jpg attachment
7. It tells me I didn’t bid enough and increments the minimum 50 ftc over what I bid

It’s an auction, User A) has bid say 10,000,000 for an item with a start price of 1 it does not mean they pay 10,000,000 for it, if the bid increments are 25 then the current highest bid is now 26 (the maximum bid is still 10,000,000) now the next User B) comes along and places a bid of 1000 they beat the current highest bid of 26 but not the maximum bid of 10,000,000 - you will get the message that bid was not enough and the price will go up to 1025! Comprehend?

[/quote]If not a ‘bug’, it needs to be explained better (to the buyer). For 2 people to both see that as a possible bug independently means it’s not ‘mom-service’ friendly. ;)

[/quote]I agree I remember when ebay introduced dutch auction years ago they were as confusing as anything, in fact I think they removed it eventually, I reckon we do that too :D

Sunday -> Soft Launch
Monday -> Massive Push -
Dutch auctions have been removed from the system and Buy Now only auctions have been enabled. This allows people to sell multiple items at once.

Let’s bang on this site a little more today before the public beta tomorrow.

I have finished for the day. Please test this system further and report any bugs here. What I want people to find are the show stopping bugs if there are any.
In the morning I will wipe the site and prepare for our public beta. I will keep styling as there is more to be done but I consider the front page to be complete.

Oh boy. The SSL cert id for auction.feathercoin.com and I think I did a little bit of hard coding on some of the forms while testing. Here we go then :)
The front page is not finished again, a minimum of three items will now show on a row.
