Wallet safety

What are some of the methods you guys are using to secure your wallets? I am considering multiple flash drives and maybe emailing the wallet to multiple email accounts I own.
-
have a backup script i run once a day.
backs up to dropbox and usb flash.
of course the wallets are encrypted -
Correct me if i am wrong but, the wallet doesn’t save you balance right? Only the private keys for your wallet address(es)?

Cold storage is best long term. Haven’t tried this yet as still waiting to recover my initial investment. Once I do I will be putting BTC in to that.
Then I would like a bootable drive and just use it for trading so that there is an air gap from it and the internets.

1. wallets are encrypted
2. wallet.dat files for the btc, ltc, ftc wallets in an encrypted 7zip file with AES encryption
3. that file is on dropbox, on a RAID1 NAS and on a USB drive
4. every time a balance change happens, i back up that wallet and replace it in the zipthe encrypt password is not used anywhere else

What’s the advantage of backing up again after a balance change?

Technically not much, it just makes me feel better that my backup is up to date. ;) -
print it on a peice of paper and laminate it and put it in a safety deposit box
