People holding FTC have lost confidence
-
So pick up a spade and face forward.
I think UKMark made a great comment: http://forum.feathercoin.com/index.php?topic=778.msg6025#msg6025
Once people stop being greedy and the tree is fully shook of weak hands and bad apples, then the price will rise and it could rise quite rapidly too, faster than we have seen in recent pumps, which will leave quite a few greedy folk caught with their pants well and truly around their ankles :D
Feather_Lover also made a good comment on this point to my concerns
http://forum.feathercoin.com/index.php?topic=816.msg6322#msg6322So what can you do right now to help the situation, what is your super power?

I have not lost confidence, the majority of my coins will be in my wallet until next year… My play coins on btc-e have made me over 500 coins in 24 hrs.
Win, Win. Yes, the greedies will be shook loose here soon.

No matter how hard have you done, you have to admit that people holding FTC have lost confidence and the price at exchanges slumped. I am so sad.
Don’t be afraid. Maybe I’m totally off the mark on this one, but I’ve bought almost 70,000 coins just in the last day and a half. My confidence is actually just starting to develop for FTC. Am I late to the party?
-
For me, it’s business as usual. We need to continue to organize while Bush and the other developer types sort through the technical side.
What’s lacking in the world right now is leadership and courage. We need people like you Atlas and lewissimy to show other people that they do not need to wait for permission before they act. Courage is about having faith in your intuition and facing that fear just a little bit longer.
^^ What he said :D
Seriously let them get rid of their coins, once they are all in the right hands the price will rise, I’m buying up more all the time, I’ve doubled my holding since the weak departed 8)
Late is relative, the price seems to be right.

None of the Cryptos have consistently increased in value. Look at BTC. It hit $260 a while back then went below $100 and now it’s around $125 - ish. Ups and downs are part of the landscape.
This is a long game.
I concur. Buying on the dips then holding seems to be the best strategy. Decentralised currencies are beating the centralised ones hands down; that’s the theme I am seeing.
The problem is that not everyone can afford to be wrong about these sorts of things. Venture capitalism requires that you are capable of sustaining significant losses.

All we can do, is what we can do. We are being tested… better now than later.

Converted all my LTC and BTC to FTC, now have about 550, wish I had means of buying more. I still believe in FTC, Bushy and this community. We’re still working on market adoption and we’ll get there, sooner rather than later!
-
Had put up a buy order for 10 FTC at 0.0003 at Bter. Come back and see half of it got filled.
Wish I had more BTC to buy FTC. I am keeping hold of my few LTCs, though. The FTC/LTC price is hasn’t crashed much.

I am buying FTC now, price is very good 8)
-
I am tempted to sell my mining card for some coins!
Seems we’re in the same boat. I’ve just converted all my ltc and satoshis to ftc, which were only leftover from when I was trying out the scene. I’ve been lucky to have been on with ftc since abut day 2, and have seen almost all the pools start up and become the status quo. Others came on board, diversifying…
I certainly haven’t lost confidence. I too wish I could buy more.
There is a reason why markets make people rich or destroy people. It’s either a gamble or a business. If you mix the two then you can lose both.
If, at the end of the day, ftc is merely a wikipedia footnote referenced by the entire crypto ‘era’ then I’ve lost nothing, but I’ve gained a lot of respect of a lot of the people around here who’ve proven to me that the community is as good as any currency, when you find the right one.
I’d rather be here with a few hundred ftc, reading and learning and talking… than sitting in the trollbox waiting for the sell point to make myself profit, and dealing with nothing more than a cheesy irc channel lol
and I know I’d rather use the FTC I do have to buy things that go towards my contributions to the network, than convert them to AUD and piddle it away in things that will end up doing nothing.

I am actually in need of some cash on my paypal.
All the alts have gone down over the weekend. The LTC/FTC shows that FTC hasn’t really been affected that much.

for those people who have lost their hope and confidence. just look at the “buy orders” of FTC/BTC. 8)
