Yea I wasn’t thinking of messaging merchants at random asking them for their opinion. Rather I posted this in hopes that, if anyone they know runs or owns some sort of business, if they could ask that person personally their opinion and thoughts if they were to be asked to accept something like Feathercoin for payments.

I contacted them awhile back and cc’d you the msg. Feathercoin is already on their plate. Last contact was a few weeks ago.

I know some of ethical issues with adult sites, thankfully, I’m not one of them that cares how adults legally spend their hard earned coin. I have so much going on in my own life, I try to let others live in peace and quiet. Once we have merchant tools in place, I’d like to see an initiative to reach out to this industry.

As soon as there is a market implementation for FTC, we’ll gladly integrate it along side of BTC and LTC.

Just a little update. I got an email from somebody about this project and they said that things had started getting developed for the shopping cart.

I have been mining as many FTC as i can in the meantime.

From what I can tell and searched it’s legit. They use weusecoins.com though to handle the transactions so I would think they’d need a Feathercoin merchant service for them to accept us too. It would be great being able to get prepaid cards with FTC though!

Wesphily is working on a modified version of the merchant letter to contact charities.

I dont think the quick and dirty approach would be best for this, we need first impressions to be good, to gain trust and support from users.
