Far as I know that was when FTC support Scrypt algorithm vs Neoscrypt which it has been forked to now. I quote from that page:

So, this is a no go. The reason Neoscrypt was chosen is to discourage this type of mining and open it up for the “little guy” or as I understand GPU and CPU mining only for the foreseeable future.

Hey all, I’ve been mining for a bit now. I like this idea and really dig the community. Need more resources for us Hobby type miners. I will add it was fun to figure out.
