That, i have found is the most frustrating part of mining…the misinformation or bad information you find. Following a link and then every step fails, for seemingly no reason. I am having good success with the BAMT SMOS at the moment. I like the reliability of the software over win 7, which will throw in updates even when set not to. I have a question about BAMT SMOS…

1. I have multiple rigs and want to set up a farm using BAMT. Have done all of reading and research, but can’t quite seem to get it. Has anyone else used it with a farm? if so, any help with getting that set up correctly would be much appreciated. I am using the CG Remote and love it, but it is windows based.

Can you control the card voltage using CGminer command line?

device 0 420 - 450 stable no errors
device 1 320 - 350 stable no errors

CGminer…one line code no comma separation, I have switched the cards and get same results. I can run them separately and they will run 450, just when they are together, the 2nd card runs slower
second card is on a riser, and I have used it as #1 card on riser and will get 450, so not sure

Question…I have 2 R9 270X in same rig, same code, script, everything the same, card 1 runs great, card 2 always about 100 kH slower. Any suggestions

1.I uninstalled all video card drivers
2. uninstalled catalyst
3.download both AMD sdk and latest catalyst and installed both
4. I once had a Nvidia card for a game I played I had to make sure all that stuff was gone! from the uninstall programs under control panel.
5. WOW it was over 500 at first but I took it to a lower intensity it got scary. I even took the memlock and and engine back to spec and still got 425 or so out of it. Now please keep in mind I looked for a few weeks and lots of reading to get that. I was lucky to get 250 to 350 out of it before. I ran those specs on 2 different rigs and the rigs mobo and cpu are different and got the sameish fast OMG outcome.
Please let me know how it worked.

Then what are you doing with your coins?

Are you exchanging coins to dollars to purchase new rigs or are using places that will take coins as payment? Coins aren’t worth anything if you can’t exchange for $$ or product.

What are your specs…mobo, cpu, ram and power supply? Can you show me your config? PM is ok

Finally got this card dialed in today, running consistently with 470 kH with no hardware errors, holding at 78F in a closed case. Probably run cooler when moved to an open rig. Been running steady for several hours with no issues or errors.

Thank you for the guides. I did have an issue with updating the catalyst. Even when going thru the command line per instructions, it would say file not found. I still have not found the file. Any help or suggestion would be most appreciated.

I have 3 questions regarding the BAMT software. 1. How do you change pools? How do you switch between pools? Do you shut down and have a different USB for each pool? 2. When remoting in thru putty, do you only see the command line or can it be changed? 3. Is there a way to monitor multiple miners in multiple rigs using BAMT. I have other software I am using for that now, but like the BAMT program and would to use it on all my rigs. Thank you in advance.

Well most of the time there is not…that is the issue. Those that know don’t like to share with others. I’m no way even close to being new in computers. Yes there may be a readme file, but usually there is still a piece left out. And thank you for pointing out the painfully obvious.

How and where do you find out what your card is drawing? How do you undervolt?

I have spent countless hours researching mining, monitoring and rig software , set up and information. Every time I find a useful program or software, I spend twice the time having to search for the info that is left out. If you are going to post instructions or a ‘how to’ manual, please write as though the person reading has never used any of the programs before. I would rather skip over something I know than search for one missing piece to the puzzle. I am not new to computers. I have been in this business for 20+ years, but I am new to mining and some good complete info would be great. Thank you the forums they have been helpful.

We too are having issues with the d2 pools. Having spent countless hours and countless dollars on research and equipment, we choose the d2 pools. They are supposedly reputable, safe and consistent. With a consistent hash rate one day we do great with pool, even several days and then with the same hash rate and no rig issues, there is nothing, one day half one day nothing. Why is this? We are paying (and I donate as well) for reliable, consistent, fast servers that we can depend upon to mine. Any guidance or support would be greatly appreciated.

Using win 7 64-bit, and the win32 software. He did get the SMOS-Linux1.2-2gb to burn to usb, but gets message ‘no live media’ and then freezes on smoke and flames. The litecoin version, as in the link, cannot get to burn. Having to reformat usb between each attempt. Thank you for assist. Understand ‘work’
