Can I use your Bitcoin miners to mine other cryptocurrencies, like Litecoin?

Our ASIC hardware is designed specifically for mining Bitcoins which uses SHA256d as a proof-of-work algorithm to process network transactions. If a cryptocurrency, like Litecoin, which is based on Scrypt, uses a different proof-of-work than that used in Bitcoin, then our hardware will not be compatible.

I am looking at buying https://products.butterflylabs.com/homepage/25-gh-s-bitcoin-miner.html to mine feathercoin instead of bitcoin. Based on what I read, it comes with a software to mine bitcoin. Sounds like it may not support Scrypt protocol, is my understanding correct or it is something worth buying?

I am using Astroid as of now to mine bitcoin and it is doing GPU mining and I am getting close to 67MH/s. Astroid only mines bit or lite coins. I tried, using bfgminer, cgminer (7.0) and macminer all I ran into problems when mining alt coings. I would love to use the AMD graphics card to mine feather coin so far no luck, any mac miners out there, please give me some pointers.

I been mining stable coin for a while and one of my friend recommended me to look at feathercoin. I downloaded the qt and it is sitting in 118 week with 0 active connection to feathercoin network. Any pointers? I have Stablecoin and Litecoin both are running in healthy active connections though.
