Yes, yes, yes! I’ve tried to draw attention to this for weeks. It really needs to be addressed. I think there should be a download link in the drop down menu. The download link needs to be moved higher up on the page so you don’t have to scroll down to see it as well and the version # should be displayed with the link.

I tried to get into Ron Paul coin yesterday. After one day of mining with a promise of 4 coins/day … I ended up with .25 coins and it’s only getting worse today.

I’m not sure if it’s the pool I’m on (seemed like the best I could find) or their current mining issue (our old mining issue). RPC is going for over $20 on CoinedUp, so I thought I’d give it a shot. So far, I’m not impressed.

Green and the ZCP decided to make their own altcoin.

My hope all along was the FTC would implement ZC, but that is not going to happen :-\ judging by the discussions I’ve been part of on this forum … unless another Dev comes along and decides he wants to implement it for teh Feather. That’s the situation as I know it, if it’s different … by all means someone clue us in please.

Implementing ZC would be a huge undertaking and I don’t think there are very many people in this world who could handle the code, have the time to do it, do it for free and be willing to do/absorb all of that while sitting in the back seat.

That’s just my opinion, I’ve been known to be wrong on occassion (see Reddit).

Stablecoin came back from the dead and is introducing a mixing service. I got in shortly after the Dev came back and now just watching and waiting. It was amazing how fast things picked back up, mainly due (IMHO) to Hazard semi-endorsing the coin around that same time. Not much of a community from what I’ve seen, but I don’t keep up with it religiously. Everything seems to be hinging on whether the Dev can produce this mixing service he’s touting on the forum.

HoboNickels I got into after learning about how/why it was created (from a Cryptsy chat) and I found the 100%+ stake interesting. The client allows for multiple wallets and the coin is pretty fast. I liked what I saw out of the community, but I didn’t go that deep into their forum.

Recently though, I’m beginning to think about AnonCoin. I can’t believe how fast that coin jumped from .30 USD to $5 or so and it’s held for the most part. They seem to be serious about implementing ZeroCoin, but they have shown nothing but talk as far as I know. I saw an update from them a few days ago and it sounds like they’re pretty much still at the drawing board due to the changes in ZeroCoin protocol.

By now, I thought Matthew Green would have his own altcoin out featuring ZeroCoin protocol, but I’ve not seen an update out of him or the ZC Project (has anyone else?).

I honestly never thought I would do it. I’ve been anti-ASIC from day #1, favoring coins that were ASIC-resistant. I’m not sure what lured me to the dark side (outside of entry price), it’s probably a epeen thing where I’ve grown tired of seeing myself at the bottom of the KH/s chart. In two weeks (and the coming months) I hope to me moving up the Feathercoin Top Contributors list … unless/until the algorithm is changed. ;)

How did you get the free ZenController

GAWMiners owner gave big rebates on recent purchases and on Fury purchase he threw in a free controller. Others received straight cash homie, up to $450 I believe. It was due to profitability dropping and he wanted to share the load. Nice guy.
