It’s been a crazy few months for all coins including BTC, the reason I posted the link and quote was because at the time I personally thought the FTC community was the best and most dedicated and certainly not a failure… and I still do.

RE: Intesting quote from an interview
Whoops I’m always causing trouble me!
The only issue I have with your reply to me in your thread is you say all 3 coins were in the shitter after UNOCS but in your interview you seem to point towards PXC and FTC’s troubles yet WDC have improved dramatically!
I personally hope all 3 coins do well!

RE: Riser Cards
Mine are similar but modified to add power straight to the card. The tutorial is around here somewhere and I would highly recommend doing it. It solved alot of my issues with a 4 card setup.

My errupters (another bunch) just arrived, but I still have to wait for my USB hub.
It is breaking my heart.

BTC is 213$, I hope God gives FTC strength. Go to 0.0006
[/quote]
If we leave it in the hands of any one of those the price will stay exactly where it is. -

RE: Who's carved a pumpkin for Halloween...
I will track down a better pic! I saw a printed 1 last night of someone stood next to it so I’ll try and get the digital version of that. Size rarely impresses me but this did :)

RE: Help with Macbook Air - Water Damaged
I find spray a little harder to work with but it should do the trick. I like liquid and a syringe or pipette for a more precise application.

RE: Help with Macbook Air - Water Damaged
Lol naa beer is about 98% water anyway :) we want isopropyl alcohol.
Thankfully I have never had to deal with a genius of the apple variety lol
If you find some and it’s silly money give me a shout and I’ll mail you a small bottle, I buy it in 5ltr bottles, I think Maplin charge about £15 a litre. -
RE: Who's carved a pumpkin for Halloween...
We had a party here at the weekend with a decent pumpkin but I don’t have a pic! It was an unusual design too… it had a giant mouth cut in the top and was filled with liquid and used for apple bobbin. I will try and get a pic it was pretty good… It had severed fingers and eyeballs in it.

RE: Help with Macbook Air - Water Damaged
Water damage is a pain! the longer the components have power to them from the mains or battery the more damage can be caused. if you ever spill or drop a device into liquid you want to remove power as quickly as possible, nowadays it’s harder with iphones being pretty sealed etc.
Anyway onto the actual cleaning, for water damaged phones I bath them in pure IPA in an ultrasonic cleaner then start identifying damaged components (if any). And that is only for good friends as most people seem to drop them into toilets! lol
IPA is fine to use on the components… i use it all the time on just about every job i do! even down to cleaning the pci-e connectors on my rigs, it evaporates quickly, cleans really well and imo smells great :) just make sure you have no power to the board. If you could take some decent pics of the board i may be able to offer further advice.
Good luck
