Just a thought, are there any vending machines vending chocolate/drinks which take ‘cashless payments’? I’ve never seen any, and it’s probably for the reason above. Maybe this is an opportunity ready for the taking?

Totally agree here. One good step towards generalized merchant adoption would be to have some vending machines accepting FTC. Fast, small, automatic payments… I like it! Anyone any idea how this could be implemented? The only idea that comes to mind is to create the dual-FTC-ATM-vending machine - O-TRON (last part is a reference to some old game pc’s :) ). In another words, have one machine where you can buy FTC near another where you can spend it. Anyone in the vending machine market? :)

This economics game is interesting to watch… how are you guys so certain that the price will collapse? I mean… selling 100k FTC for 0.0004 waiting for it go to 0.0003. What if it goes to 0.0005 or 0.005 instead?

Now Ruthie, not my area there, but if you let me know which hair product you need, I can try to find it and list it in our market.

Also, I have been thinking in how to help our market, and I have decided to start an item request system (which I am adding to my signature). Basically i’m putting a small monthly FIAT into FTC, but instead of buying directly FTC I get the item you need and sell it through our market. But I’d like to hear from you if its a actually a good idea or if i’m missing a bad point here.

Ok this is a good start, let’s see what we can come up with! :)

So, i’ve come up with this idea: “Items Request Section”. Simply put, you point an item you want to buy with FTC which isn’t in our market yet and you allow a few days to see if anyone can come up with said item. This could be a subsection of the marketplace in our forum. What do you guys think?

EDIT: Ok, the “Goods” subsection can be used for that purpose. Maybe we should try to widespread the use of WTB and WTS.
