Interesting article.
I’m still unsure of how crypto earnings are taxed, and I suspect it varies in different countries. When I cash out I’ll probably use localbitcoins to my BA.
Hey, so what actually is “Feathercoind”? I’m assuming I don’t have to leave the ftc gui up on the server?
Aight thanks dude, I’ll read over all that. And tbh at my budget a vps will have to do.
I think a lot of eBay sellers employ damage limitation - limiting how many people can purchase, and at what frequency. You gotta assume the majority of people who buy cryptos off eBay/ with paypal are legit. I sold a few BTC a while ago and lost a bit on chargeback, but the greatly inflated prices means you can usualy make a profit. Although you are asking for a buyers point of view, so yeah the marketplace is good, also trading from other exchanges. Depends if you’re looking to make decent profit or not, or just use as a currency.
Ok I’ve been working on an FTC game (you could say gambling but not entirely), done most of the site. My idea is to setup a new receiving address on my server for every account made, or whenever they request to make a payment (one of the two), then use a script to sort out sending payments back to user’s, allong with winnings if they have won. I currently have a windows VPS for games and shit and up just testing the site on this (not that I can get damn apache to install allongside iis) but if I get this all up and working I’ll wanna move to a linux VPS (know of any good ones?). So yeah, is any of this possible, how have other people done it, and what are best practices? I’m fairly new to this kinda thing but am eager to see my idea realized.
Thanks.

Welcome! Curious about the ‘‘working on’’ thingies! :)

Yeah been working on something FTC/gambling/skill related, don’t wanna give the gameaway just yet though. Although will need some help (to do with automation/ security) at some point down the line.
Hey guys, I’m “TheCannon”, been mining for a while and own a few FTC, interested in a few other alts to. Also working on a few things that I hope to talk about soon. I’d like to build up my technical knowledge of cryptos as well, as that is lacking.
Thanks for having me :)
