Sounds like a great idea , lets start an open market for products.

So well how can we start with this.

May be segregated the sections of learning , and have it easy for every one to access it .
I think it would also be a good idea, if we can have a step by step guide for mining, for those people who never have before,
Easier the learning curve, faster the adoption of the new currency.

Use minerd or cgminer works great . just unzip it in your wallet folder and start mining they have a pretty good info http://feathercoin.is-a-geek.com/gettingstarted

I think this, currency really needs to have a good economical buyers market for it to thrive.
Right now i mostly see Fiat conversions, think it should also have products too.

Feathercoin-Qt is your wallet, put the minerd on the same folder where your Feathercoin-Qt can be found.
