any updates/news on nvidia miners?

unfortunately it took a step backwards for nvidia cards (slower), but its meant for AMD so if that is better there, then good!

Gentlemen, is 3.7.7c the latest version? I don’t have linux unfortunately so can’t compile, and I probably don’t have the knowledge to do so :(. Is there a place I can go to find the latest version in compiled/windows format

VERY power efficient, the numbers are on nvidias site

cgminer.exe --neoscrypt -I 13 -w 32 -g 1

I find w 32 is best for gtx970, I just can’t set a thread concurrency as it makes it shut down, but i dont know if thats important, maybe cause its nvidia

NOTE: I have tried I value of 15 and got 165 kh, so it can go higher, just that the computer goes very slow

what is the way to set concurrency in this neo miner?

made my pc a bit usable again and getting 140 Khash, from testing a few numbers I can assume 150 KH is the max the gtx970 can do on neoscrypt at the moment on this cgminer unless I’m missing something big from the config

You should give -I 12 -w 64 -g 1 and -g 2 a try -I 13 may work ok as well.

-I 14 here made the OS some what lagged and the gain wasn’t worth the loss of the use of the computer for me.

but I do other things other than mine with my computers.

Edit: BTW nice to see someone unlocked this thread, lots of good info here and once it goes inactive that will be lost in the abyss of dead threads.

could just move it to the support section if its causing problems where its at. Use to be a ABIT motherboard forum admin/mod back in the day. ;-)

Thanks :) I used those settings I now get 140 KH but my computer is usable. I guess the GTX 970 max is 140-150 then

What does the - g setting mean? Should I use 1 or 2. and is -w 64 the best for me?

PS: What is the max -I can go up to, i assume its intensity, if I try a higher value like 15 or 16 do i risk damaging my card

Hopefully others out there have the new NVIDIA Cards (970 and 980) and we can find out the best settings. Here are my results for a **EVGA GTX 970 **(OC 200 clock, power goal 110%)

You can set I to 13, it just depends if you want to be able to use your computer for other work

What would be the best config for a GTX 970?

I’m getting 150 KH/S using this right now, but not sure if I can do better (using 3.7.7b)

Also those settings really choke my pc, slows down. Not sure if I can change any setting to fix that.
