It’d be great for gaming, but you’d never hit the hash rate an AMD will.

Your best option is that 7750 if you want to hash, but really you’ll only be making like 3-5 FTC a day. The whole wattage envelope won’t ratio out your power bill when including all other parts.

I have a feeling that Litecoin will supersede Bitcoin as that it’s available to anyone with a computer and Bitcoin is over farmed with technology specifically for it’s purpose. I’m uncertain if there will ever be technology like that for Scrypt based currencies, but I hope not. The average person should be able to make something out of it. Once something stops becoming available to people it starts becoming worthless. Accessibility is value.

If your graphics is also rendering your GUI of your operating system your driver most likely crashed. I’d recommend lowering all your display settings resolution to graphical detail, make it look like Windows 95 if you have to. Then from there start your hashing program and make sure your GPU fan is running at decent speeds or it’ll get too hot. You might have got too hot and broke into VPU recover mode.

Should be fine, there lays a chance you’ll fizzle it. Powersupplies when rated for a wattage also include a +/- operational percentage. Since no one powersupply actually holds up at exactly the stated watts. Next thing I’d fear is the temps.

Referring to best card according to Tom’s Hardware for Hash/Watt ratio is a R9 270x. 142 watt draw chugging out at 563 kh! :) 3.9 hashes per watt.
