My only other guess is that your card is throttling. Can you get GPU tweak and see if your speed stays at 1000MHz or close to it? If it is dropping by a fair amount you may need to turn up the fans higher. Yes it sounds like a hairdryer but its the only way to keep temperatures in check.

RE: Feathercoin Foundation and donation co-operation with pools
Setting up a foundation to handle project / contest funding is a great idea and I support it as long as it’s ran properly with full disclosure and managed by responsible parties. As for pools offering funding, it’s a great idea, but I disagree with the idea that people will want to contribute or mine on a pool because they fund the foundation with donations. My pools are 0% fee with the idea that people will want to donate a small percent to help me with server costs. What I’ve noticed is that most people set donations to 0% and just take advantage of the no fees so I don’t think this will really matter too much, but I would be open to exploring the idea more.
I have noticed that there aren’t very many free pools left, but even my own rarely sees more than 3-5% of the network hash and the bulk seems to be at pools like coinotron that do charge fees :o
As far as a part of the transaction fees going to the foundation, it’s an interesting concept but should remain as just an idea for now at least.
This surprises me. I am currently donating 2% of my admittedly small hash power and will now bump it up to 4% to help out. Also as for the foundation donation idea just have a separate entry box to set that donation. That way people can choose to donate or not. I would throw in 1% to the cause.

RE: Diff retarget strategy.
1% every 12 blocks makes the most sense to me. If hash rate Jumps massively the difficulty will ramp up fairly quick. But on the other side it will also come back down faster.

Tapatalk Support
Would be able to get tapatalk support for the forum? It is much easier to browse on a mobile phone using this app. SMF does have a plugin that enables support and it is fairly easy to install.

RE: Haasonline Simple Trade Bot for Bitstamp and BTC-e \[Main topic\]
Suggestion: Have the bot have an auto mode that will recover from an unexpected reboot with the previous buy/sell and rsi data stored somewhere so it can automatically start trading again.

Just bought this to test it out. Any idea how long the turnaround time from you fully confirming the payment and me getting the download link?
edit: I got it. Also you need to look at the formatting on your help page. A lot of the text is cut off.

I am always in there idling. Not sure if that counts. I will try to be around at that time. You know, young kids and all

Everyone, please read the first post carefully. If you’re name doesn’t end up on the list, you probably didn’t list your Worldcoin and Phenixcoin addresses.
I posted all 3 wallets but did not make the list. Was there something I am forgetting to do?

RE: Addressing a Member Ban
One of the many problems of being a forum administrator that I have also had to deal with. While bans should be the last resort there needs to be some sort of repercussions for breaking the rules before that. With this being SMF you should have a warning system built in that you can use. You can also allow moderators use of the system as well. I think you did right in giving the person more then one chance, you dont want to come across as heavy handed. If you have any questions on how to use the warning system drop me a PM

For what my phone cost I would rather not reduce its lifespan for no real reason.

RE: FTC Diff Change
Now heres a thought. If we could somehow decouple the difficulty adjustment from being a fixed amount of blocks then we could dynamically adjust the difficulty and thus the block generation rate mid block. Say for example (numbers just pulled out of my ass) we are getting a block time of 2.5 mins at 100 difficulty and a lot of miners jump on and push the difficulty up to 500. Block generation goes to 12.5 mins. If somehow through the block we could have it say ‘block generation is at double the target generation time’ and retarget down that would fix the problem right there.
Edit: Or if difficulty adjustments are unable to be changed on the fly like that then maybe a dynamic amount of blocks for retarget based on an averaged hash rate
