so i guess i’m mining right… is there a way to check my gpu stats with ccminer (fan speed, usage, temp etc…)

@bluebox yeah i read that about guiminer but downloaded it to play with it, you can actually make it call up different miners, point it to different pools, and port numbers run it via cpu which it does detect my cpu and you can also choose the gpu to mine it detected my old rx480 but haven’t ran the program with my new gtx1070
funny thing is it seems to detect the devices perfectly and connect to pools even solo mining wallets per settings, i was originally hoping i could download it and maybe tweak it to work for my purposes because i like the gui and the features… i also loved the fact that it detected my devices with no problems, might be a good idea for someone more advanced than me to download it and check it out and maybe repurpose it for current needs, looks like it has the capability to use different algo’s and can be configured to run with different miners, has cuda and opencl support… as well as cpu just an idea…

@bluebox cool that’s good to know, now i was running guiminer at one point and was howing me a hashrate of like 500mhash which i thought was amazing, and it was showing accepted shares but of course the pool wasn’t showing it.

any ideas why

i have actually set up a virtual machine with ubuntu, and i wouldn’t mind trying centos… but again it’s like giving someone a computer who’s never even seen one before… everything i know is self taught but until i can teach myself centos i’d rather run a virtual machine with it before i go creating a dual boot system… last year i created a dual boot win7 and os/x system just to see if i could make a mac and windows together worked great actually sold it to someone for like 4000… cost me about 1500 in parts so pretty good deal but my current system i just built it about 2 months ago is my baby with a 1 terabyte m.2 drive at about 450mbps read and write speed, 2 ssd drives at 2 terabytes each, 64gbs of crucial ddr 2400mhz (i know i can go to 128 on my mb but don’t need it yet) an I7 6850 intel cpu running at about 4000mhz stable, with watercooling, and of course my gtx1070…so what i would like and i know it might be asking a lot but is a windows miner, which is already compiled and in the form of an exe file with premade config files for ftc, ltc,dopecoin, through pools and also solo mining so scrypt, neoscrypt, and the other main scrypts…

@shadow1117 well i’d like to try solo mining for fun, but i have pool accounts on give me coins as well as ,multipool
give me coins for ftc and multi pool they are using a multi coin deal where they change the coin depending on profitability but the address is us-west.multipool.us:7777 and i believe it uses stratum+tcp at beginning
any help would be appreciated,

hey i have the exact same card, can you post your config file settings
i can’t get mine to mine at all keeps disabling gpu
and if possible can you post a link to the miner your using maybe its a different version from the one i have

thanks guys, first let me apologize for my ignorance, i think of myself as a pretty savvy tech guy, I actually own an IT company…but i have no knowledge of linux have dealt exclusively with windows and network installations…
so i have no idea how to BUILD or Compile this stuff from github, probably gonna have to teach myself how to do this
so again i apologize… here is specifically what i would like and i’d be happy to offer some type of reasonable compensation if someone could help me.

I need mining software for windows 64bit that will work with a i76850 cpu and a msi gtx1070 or and a rx480 amd card
i need the config file optimized for this setup, i would like the ability to mine different coins as i would like to switch between ftc and Ltc and other currency

my windows is win10 64bit pro

not sure where i would get the algorythim required

i have a membership with get me coins and multipool

i would like to know the best mining software to use for both solo mining and pool mining i plan to mine ftc
ive tried sgminer and sometimes im getting nothing but rejects even though it says i’m mining at 5 mhash but doesnt show on my pools at all, like i’m not even active

keep getting share above target for some and others it tells me rejected share difficulty too low 0.00 share
sometimes my pc just crashes, ive been trying to figure this out on my own but at this point i’m just tired and frustrated so any advice help links etc… would really help me out

hey guys, spent awhile reading the forums before i decided to join, i’m new to mining and i’m working on getting myself started with ftc… having a lot of trouble with setting things up… would love some advice on best software to use for mining and am interested in solo mining as well as pool mining i have an account with give me coins, and multipool already
i have downloaded nsgminer as well as sgminer but cant get them to work right with my system
