RE: Simplifying the forum
I must say that in my first few weeks on the forum, I also found the number of boards a little overwhelming. As I checked back regularly, I realised most forums don’t have new posts very often.
So I suppose @lclc_ suggestion makes sense for both, newbies and veterans.

Feathercoin gets hardware wallet support
The Feathercoin Development Foundation just announced the release of a version of Electrum-FTC with hardware wallet support.
Read all about it here: https://medium.com/feathercoin/first-hardware-wallet-for-feathercoin-ed92ee07b3df
(and if you’re registered on Medium, please applaud the story to push it to new readers - thank you!)

RE: Thought I'd get into FTC
While I can only speak for myself, I hope the good taste from this community outweighs the bad taste from that particular exchange.

RE: BTC e??? All my Feather coins were at BTC e exchange and as you prob know BTC e no longer supports FTC?? BTC e won't tell me where my FTC coins are? Any help or direction is greatly appreciated, Thanks
I know this doesn’t help you in any way, but I do feel sorry for you guys. All the best trying to recover the coins, i there’s still a chance at all.

Hello Christian - welcome to the forum!
Looking forward to your contributions :-)

RE: Coinpayments Marketplace
Thanks @addamnorth - we’d all love to have Feathercoin on coinpayments.net but they’ve removed it from the public voting system (even though we’ve had a few percent up).
If you have any inside channels to talk to them, that’d be great!

RE: Get some free Feathercoin stickers! Worldwide shipping!
@1polo Thanks a bunch for this; sticker looks lovely !!

RE: [ANN] Electrum-FTC: First lightweight (SPV) Wallet for Feathercoin
Great work all involved, I may be mistaken but I think this makes Feathercoin the only Altcoin (other than Litecoin) to have a recent version of Electrum!

RE: Enable FTC on PSD2 Banking HUB
@duff_lesterny Thanks … some of us here are happy users of revolut, didn’t know that Bitstamp access was the criteria. Good job!

RE: [ANN] Feathercoin Development Foundation - Rise of the Phoenix
A new website would be one (visible) way to spend resources on. What are other things that should be tackled?

RE: Enable FTC on PSD2 Banking HUB
Hi @duff_lesterny and welcome to the forum!
Since Feathercoin is open source, nobody needs permission to do anything with it and/or use its source code. Of course I’m happy to coordinate any efforts to integrate the coin into new solutions, and if it’s a really cool project that the Feathercoin community supports as a whole, the Feathercoin Development Foundation may be able to spend some money on it.
From the blogpost it seems clear that wallet is an area of focus 😊

RE: COINPAYMENTS.NET???
It appears they have taken FTC down for now (even though we were at 5% already!), presumably because we don’t match all the criteria. Still a shame, though, I have the strange feeling that FTC will be meeting their criteria sooner, rather than later…
-
RE: COINPAYMENTS.NET???
@lclc_ said in COINPAYMENTS.NET???:
You are right. But I am very confident that we will get there soon
It’s not much of a stretch, given we’re only about 20% price increase away from that barrier…let’s start voting :-)

RE: using feathercoin as a replacement for Website Advertising revenue (via javascript mining)
Our hashing algo (neoscrypt) is currently not available in javascript, but setting that aside it’s feasible as long as you make sure the reader gets joined to a mining pool.
The payout would be quite insignificant, however, if the readers are only mining for a few minutes - say while reading the article. Given that there are mining pools that automatically start mining the most profitable coin, I’d say that FTC is no more feasible to replace ads with than any other coin mining… :-(
