I have found that the source code for Cpuminer is also available, which I understand makes the program fully transparent and therefore verifiable by the Feathercoin community.

Of course I’ll let you know if my system inexplicably starts mining by itself!

I downloaded a mining program for Feathercoin:

and my virus checker gave this virus warning:

AVG states “Trojan horse Downloader.Agent2.BHTO” in the file minerd.exe.

If this program is infected, are any other trusted and recommended mining programs suggested?
