you can use the command line guiminer prints in it’s console to pop CGminer for more information. you can paste it straight into cmd, too. I use this to check other stats guiminerscrypt doesn’t display. I love taco, but I want more info, damnit!

But yeah, I use the shit out of guiminer.

I’ve heard anecdotally in #feathercoin that lower intensities helped. I get my full LTC hashrate mining on tailfeathers, so I’ve stuck there. if you watch the console, you might see why, too: i get a lot of lost shares for strat disconnects/pool unresponsive. this tanks what guiminer approxes for your hashrate.

don’t let anyone tell you not to use guiminer, though: it’s just a cgminer wrapper, and it won’t do anything cgminer won’t do, besides tell you all your stats.

Looking forward to stratum! I was hopping between a lot of pools to find one that wouldn’t spit errors at me constantly. This is what i finally landed on, after trying literally everything; no stratum, but my stale rate is VERY low! less than 1%, hash rates correct on website. Very happy with your pool! All things go well and auto withdraws work and I’m sure I’ll be here for a while.

What I’m excited for is stratum, and hey, throw up one of them graphs. I like to look at graphs! it also REALLY helps me see at what point I went down.

Didn’t take long to head this way. Lot of trouble with a lot of pools, ub3rl33t, fcpool, featherpool.
Uber misreported my shares dramatically, while reporting the correct hashrate. kinda feel like it might be scam city.

fcpool and featherpool were both fine for the 15 minutes or so until I start getting “Lost 25 shares due to stratum disconnect on pool 0” and millions of other nuts errors about connection issues, stratum not responding. Finally landed on tailfeathers and I’m hashing hard as hell, with good reporting from the website! registered to thank the dude.
