Wow Ruthie these look great! I only have 43 FTC in total, so can’t afford one at the moment, but hopefully soon I will be able to buy one of these beauties. I wish BTC-e would accept GBP deposits or I had mining hardware. Oh well. :)

We’ve seen 0.0022 today! I want to get 7 more FTC so I can have a total of 50 but at the current price I need 0.01484 BTC and I only have 0.0032319 BTC (which is not taking the transaction fee into account when I send to BTC-e). Not looking very likely to happen today. Can’t wait to be mining and supporting this wonderful coin. :)

This is why I was suggesting a set time for the loading screen display, like 3 seconds or something similar. Loading bars that give no indication of the time remaining are just annoying and give you no clue of how long to wait. FTC QT is very quick to load so a graphic displayed for a few seconds would be purely cosmetic and have excellent branding use. :)

I am getting frustrated with not being able to buy mining hardware due to lack of funds. Therefore to satisfy my impatience I am wanting to buy £5 GBP worth of FTC from another member of the community. I would buy direct from an exchange but firstly I like and trust this community and secondly, being based in the UK getting money onto exchanges is not so easy. I am willing to send first as I am a relative newbie on this forum, however because I am sending first I will only do this exchange with a forum member that is part of the FTC team, has high post count, ect and trustworthy. Please don’t rip me off. I will pay by UK bank transfer so you must have a UK bank account. Many thanks if you can help. Feel free to PM me. The amount of FTC I get for my £5 is up to your offer, but I trust that there are people on the forum that will not rip me off, so far I have found this to be a friendly community and great forum. With the Feathercoin QT I have noticed a distinct difference to BTC and LTC, that is the brown wallet loading screen. Whilst I think it is fantastic that the FTC QT opens so quickly on startup I think this loading screen is not a bad idea from a branding point of view. If the same brown wallet picture as BTC and LTC except with the FTC “F” symbol appeared for say just 3 seconds as QT starts, it would give FTC more consistency with BTC and LTC. I realise in the future FTC may want to be more singular and distance itself from BTC and LTC, but from a branding point of view this may be a good idea. I realise I am a relative newbie here so am open to listen to criticisms but just thought I would share some thoughts I had last night in case they were any use to the community. :)

1 FTC is up to 0.00124 BTC on BTC-e. this has been a huge leap since yesterday when it was hovering around 0.00104 for most of the day. This is great for Feathercoin, even if we have a dump as I have seen before, the end result should still be a higher ppc. I just wish I had mining hardware to support FTC. :)
