Cryptopia not accepting new users? I signed up two days ago and seems to be fine. I even listed an item on their marketplace just to see how it worked. Of course no sale yet, but I can safely say I am a new user within the time period that they’re apparently closed to new users.

RE: Mobilink ICO- WORLD’S 1ST DECENTRALIZED TELECOM SERVICE
i am intrigued by the idea, but am concerned that theres an investment price of $300 to get a sim… currently that would work out to be above and beyond what i currently pay out for my contracts, with little to no evidence that i would see that investment returned in adequate time.

RE: Nsgminer 0.9.2 Vs 0.9.4
@wrapper if things are easier than they used to be then i’m glad ive only recently joined in ;) its been uphill struggle from the start, then again having shoddy old hardware doesn’t particularly help things :D

Thank you for the info, i do try to find information on these things but often find myself getting a bit lost :3

Whoops, forgot to add that to my previous post :3

RE: Nsgminer 0.9.2 Vs 0.9.4
It’s listed on his github as a precompiled release, which is why I ask. But if that is the case then I shall download 0.9.3 and see what results I get from it.
I just can’t wait until I can afford a decent GPU to mine with as my 9800 GT is pretty diabolical :D -
Nsgminer 0.9.2 Vs 0.9.4
Hi guys, I’ve been using v0.9.2 to mine over the last week or two and then discovered that 0.9.4 has been around awhile so downloaded it. So far my hash rate appears to be half of that using the older version. Is there a reason for this? Are there settings within the miner I am yet to discover that would make the difference?
Thanks -
RE: nsgminer 0.9.4 and geforce 9800 GT
honestly im not actually looking to get much better out my current hardware. i am aware that is old and useless. but i am looking to be able to understand the syntax used when creating batch files and configuring the miner. This is only so that i actually know and comprehend what it is i am typing in and how it effects performance in general.
i apologise if i seem to be getting short fused about it, but i’m asking for help to understand config/batch files so i can improve performance on future harware not so i can get any major gains on my current hardware.

@wellenreiter
yeah, that was the general gist of what i discovered. but i’ve failed to get any other miner working so far.
just hoping to get some advice on how to approach configurations in general rather than be pointed away from what i’m using… for now anyways :3
(i’ve noticed that seems to be a common issue on forums like this, a question gets asked but the answers given, don’t tend to answer the question) -
nsgminer 0.9.4 and geforce 9800 GT
hi guys,
i’m looking to figure out the best configuration to get the most out of my miner. currently i can reach 15-25kh/s, im not sure i can get much better than that with my hardware. so am just looking for someone to help me better understand the code involved in configuration.
any help will be much appreciated as my search through forums has been fruitless due to the lack of consolidated information.
thanks

RE: Nsgminer 0.9.2 Vs 0.9.4
my issue is that the latest version seems to run slower than the older version. but this is more likely an issue my end than a problem with the software.

RE: Nsgminer 0.9.2 Vs 0.9.4
well im on win10 using a 1gb geforce 9800 gt. i know its not profitable but its helped me learn a lot and makes (some) use of the power the PC wastes being on most of the day anyways.
the batch file i’m using has this in it:setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
nsgminer.exe --neoscrypt -g 1 -w 128 -I 16 -o stratum+tcp://s1.theblocksfactory.com:3333 -O offtherecord.workname:xxxon 0.9.2 after playing with command line in nvidia folder and the control panel i can get between 20-25kh/s
but on 0.9.4 i barely reach above 8-15kh/s
i did have to copy from 0.9.2 this bin file for 0.9.4 to recognize my gpu: neoscryptGeForce9800GTgw128l4.binwhich i assume may not be exactly right for the later version but it got things started :)
