RE: Bitcoin Transaction Not Confirming
If it’s any help to you I have the exact same issue with a feathercoin transaction about a month ago, it sat for two whole days with 0 confirmations. I got my coins back with the salvage wallet command. If such a thing is on the bit coin client it may be worth a go.
I tried the salvage wallet command, but it removed all of my transactions/addresses and hasn’t restored my balance. The good news is, I always make backups. Also, I’ve checked the unspent outputs on a couple of the addresses in my wallet backup from right before I tried -salvagewallet and they appear to have a balance left. I’ll update when I figure something else out.

RE: Bitcoin Transaction Not Confirming
Have you got your coins back yet ? Or have they gone through to the shop ?
Neither. They’re still in limbo…the transaction is still sitting in my wallet at 0 confirmations. I tried to remove it manually with pywallet, but that took away all my transactions and gave me an empty wallet.

RE: Bitcoin Transaction Not Confirming
I think, if the transaction gets confirmed, it will show up at the shop’s wallet and you must clain it back at the shop, if they don’t deliver the goods then.
I’m not fully sure what happens, if a transaction is not confirmed at all, but in that case it should deemed as never happened and the coins should show up in your wallet
I’m hoping that’s what will happen…it just seems to be taking a really long time. Thanks for replying.

Bitcoin Transaction Not Confirming
So…I’m looking for some help here if someone would be so kind. I bought some stuff on tigerdirect and paid with Bitcoin. The transaction didn’t confirm in the window of time they allow (15 mins I think), so the order didn’t process. The problem is, the transaction still has yet to confirm - so the Bitcoin is stuck in limbo at the moment. Here is the info:
Status: 0/unconfirmed
Date: 2/15/2014 11:02
To: 1Gbr3RTBGnB29Y6qKM4inNpmBCXCvmGGaQ
Debit: -0.5372 BTC
Transaction fee: -0.0001 BTC
Net amount: -0.5373 BTC
Transaction ID: de4dcbb8c22d86d9f77bd47e85874416538e6491c16b4e3749bffae0cfacbddfAs you can see, it’s been quite a while. I’m wondering if the balance will show back up in my wallet if I wait, or are they just lost and I’m out of luck?

RE: Anyone here ..
… you walked in to the office with a stupidly big coffee in your hand…
Almost spit out my coffee…I walked into the shop today with a ‘stupidly big coffee’ and happened across this. From now on that’s what I’m asking for when I buy my coffee. Size? I’ll take stupidly big, please.
Also, I’m wondering if I come off as pompous…

Its just a random vote, but newbies looking for coins to invest in, and if feathercoin is always left behind in the dust, it isnt the best way to get new people involved.

RE: Open Source ATM
I want one for our shop! That would be awesome. This is the coolest thing I’ve seen all day.
Just seeing it gave me an idea. I could build a MAME arcade with a raspberry pi…instead of pumping quarters in, it could scan qr codes and work with FTC…
The whole thing would take up about as much space as a toaster, but I would house it in a full sized arcade box anyway.

Tuck never got back to me, so I guess I need to take this seriously since I have obviously failed in my future task and reached through the rip in space time and killed him.As for your advice… uh. Monitors?
I’m full on over LAN accessing it through the command line.
Admittedly, my sense of humor doesn’t translate well to text; nvm

10 more votes and a bump. In case you’re reading this, you may vote 10 times. Also, what’s the future like?

Are there any instructions as to pointing one card to one pool and other cards to another pool while in cgminer?I can get that rolling in the morning but I’m away from the rig at the moment.
run two instances of cgminer.
I’m coming at you if that rips a hole in the space time continuum.
Actually you’ll know right now if that happened. Am I throttling you at this very moment?
Make sure you have dual monitors setup. Run one instance of cgminer (preferably the leftmost cgminer shortcut) on the left monitor and the second instance on the right monitor. I’ll post a tutorial vid tomorrow if this is unclear. This should prevent most issues.
edit: debated on adding hyphen to ‘leftmost’; ultimately decided against it.

My rig is getting old, it’s been kept alive long past it’s sell by date. It’s not up to mining I don’t think. :(Phenom ii X4 940BE
4GB RAM
ASUS Crosshair
GTX 460 1GB SLI
Crucial M500 240GB SSD.
This is basically my non-mining rig. My vid card is a HD 6670 and I don’t have an SSD, but the ram and proc are the same. Not much use for mining. (But at night, when I’m sleeping, the 6670 gets a solid 114kH/s 8) )

RE: Vote for Feathercoin
My votes worked just fine today! If you’re reading this, go vote!
I thought about using TOR to cheat the system, but decided to do things on the up and up. :D
