Thanks for the reply. My problem is with configuring the miner clients. I have tried CGminer, Pooler cpuminer and Scrypt miner. I have read some of the starting guides, and am still going through the rest. Hopefully, something will work. :-)

Update: Right after posting the above message, I managed to get the Pooler cpuminer to work.

The same thing is happening with me. I guess it is not possible to mine without specialized hardware.
