p2pool question
As this would be total offtopic - I will ask first.
Can I expect advice from our p2pool gurus on other coin p2pool issues? -
RE: Being impatient will cost you
@btcseven said in Being impatient will cost you:
I had bought feathercoin at 2 cents and sold at 5 cents. It is now 43 cents. I will not make the same mistake. There is no reason feathercoin cannot reach $50 plus.
In some time I was mining ~300 FTC per day and selling them to ~0.02$… thats around 6$
If I keep these until now… I can exchange for ~130$ per day… man… -
RE: Feathercoins Richest Address just woke up.
@acidd You think I can make him too rich with my extra PXCs? :P

RE: Feathercoins Richest Address just woke up.
Ok, I will check my wallet if working and will send my PXC to ghost

RE: What's the easiest way to exchange FTC to BTC?
Any news about Cryptopia?
I see the coin status is “Delisting”… Very strange for gold rated coin…And FTCC with 0 nodes and dead wallet is “Active”.

RE: Novice building a Mining Rig
I see your problem now - plug monitor to videocard output. This CPU do not have graphics inside, so the VGA slot on the M/B is not functional.
BTW I have mentioned that some time at the sending :)

RE: Simple NSG Miner Tutorial?
NSGminer have huge, detailed and extensive README with it.

@wrapper Too late to say, but may add that many will migrate from Bittrex here.

RE: Need help!! Conflicted Transaction... how can I get my coins back?
Conflicted transactions are double spending or made with outdated wallet. Cured by renewing blockchain data. Delete you blockchain data folder (copy, just in case, before!) and download new. Yes, it takes long time. Sync or “renew” option not always working.

Under maintenance they write: Wallet update.
Maybe all will be ok :fingers_crossed: -
RE: Mining: Solo, or Pool...? That is the question!
I tested both on several coins and now only pool mining. Because solo never get the numbers calculated, for different reasons. And solo orphans are much more painful.
I have run separated FTC p2pool node, but nobody interested.

RE: What's the easiest way to exchange FTC to BTC?
Yes it becomes a problem with Bittrex. I use it with low amounts, mainly FTC sell/buy, but to receive my 0.01 BTC now I should send my very personal files with plain e-mail, anywhere, no responsibility…
If Cryptopia will close FTC market… not good for the coin… -
RE: Who is buying?
Agree. I was pure miner, but since July did not sell any FTC and even buying time to time.

RE: Novice building a Mining Rig
@Vigospqr Thanks :)
I think your steps are good. I have started from Linux, but later use Windows - just because it is much easier to switch between different coins/miners. I install in old useless HDD’s - 40-120 GB which is enough for windows, driver, miner and VNC. But you can use USB stick. BTW this motherboard has mSATA slot - you can use mSATA SSD drive - no extra components outside. Like: https://www.amazon.com/MyDigitalSSD-120GB-128GB-Bullet-Proof/dp/B00LNEVET8/ref=sr_1_9?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1508325198&sr=1-9&keywords=mSATA
For now - get power, windows and HDD/SSD/USB/mSATA SSD
And some case? :P -
RE: Slow syncing
Is the PC atom CPU with 0.5 MB RAM? And/or on dial-up connection?
-
RE: Novice building a Mining Rig
I have spare MB+CPU+RAM for beginner miners - Gigabyte B73-D3V with 2 full PCIe slots and 3 small, i5 3350P and 8GB DDR3, if smth.

RE: A meetup in London?
A bit far for me, so maybe next time. But wish you to enjoy it :)
