I just bought the digital bitbox hardware wallet with the FTC discount and started using it with Electrum-FTC, and it’s so convenient, really nice!

agree that it’s a bit complicated for newbies to navigate through the forum. thanks to all the mods who work to clean up the space here! :thumbs_up:

In case you want to set BTCPay Server up, there are two great tutorials on the project’s website: https://btcpay-server-testnet.azurewebsites.net

I just set one up to test yesterday and it was really very easy (with the Docker-Compose).
It will be also very easy with FTC once @ChekaZ has his Docker image finished.

Then it’s a few command line calls to setup a BTCPay server with BTC, LTC and FTC :)

We are currently preparing the next release of Electrum-FTC (3.1) with a lot of bug-fixes from upstream.

If you want to connect to the thestnet there is at least one wallet online on p2pool.neoscrypt.de .
The you may receive warnings about ‘last block xxx week ago’ or ‘too old’

The way I see it… Everyone starts somewhere…recently we’ve had a big influx of either new users or returning users from 2013/2014

The new users are usually quite excited about Crypto and just want their questions answered as quickly as possible…so I’ve personally found that most of the new users would rather ask a question (most of them are repeat questions from other users) Than to actually read through tons of documentation…

If you receive short or blunt/brusk answers it’s usually because we are answering the question directly…in a perfect world you should do your own research ;-)
