Just a suggestion. I think you should include an extra column for clock speeds. I am pretty sure some of the results posted are not running on stock clocks. There is definitely some overclocking going on.

I might be wrong, but isn’t chaning clock speeds in cgminer.conf a best way to do that?

Www.cgminer-config.com - site with cgminer scrypt configs :)

Since it took me few days to get best configs for my minning rigs, I’ve decied to make a page that could help people.
For the begining, I’ve added 3 of my configs I actually use.
Page is registration free and allows everyone to add his own config.
If you enjoy someone’s config, please vote for it. Thanks to this, other people may know that this config is better than others.I hope you enjoy it :)

RE: [Solved] What does encrypting qt-wallet give? - Security
Awesome!
Do you think this encryption is safe enough to hold my wallet at my e-mail?
Password is good enough not to be bruteforced unless hackers use some not yet existing quantum computer. -
RE: HELLOOO Mark
yes it is possible,
you can get like 760-770 kh from radeon 7970
or 900-950 kh/s from 2x radeon 270you would also need:
old motherboard that has pci-e sockets (they musn’t be 16x though)
2 gb ram (old is fine)
old hdd (20 gb is fine)
old processor (CPU) (even pentium 4 is OK)
power supplier (600W would be good, shouldnt be cheapes though)here is the page that contains mining hardware comparision (graphic cards that you can use to mine) https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison
you can check there people’s graphic card’s models and it’s hashrate ( the bigger, the better)if you are truly interested in help, write something about things you might already have and I will try to do my best to help you :)
I’ve used my friend’s 8 years old PC to make my minning rig and it works very very well. -
[Solved] What does encrypting qt-wallet give? - Security
Hi,
I’ve transfered today FTC’s from my pool to my wallet. I’m trying to make it as safe as possible. I’ve encrypted my wallet using built-in qt funcionallity (used very long and random password). I’m not sure how does it works. What does it protect me from?At first, I though it works like that:
I encrypt my wallet and everytime I use it, I need to enter my long password in order for qt to encrypt it. This doesn’t work this way though. I can access my feathercoin wallet anytime without reentering password. I also tried replacing original wallet.dat with backup-wallet.dat but still, it didn’t require me to reenter the password. Therefore, I’m not sure whats the purpose of qt wallet encryption. It either doesn’t work the way I think it does or the password is stored somewhere on my PC and qt uses it everytime I run it (which wouldn’t be good because in case my pc get hacked, the password is on it).
I’m also thinking about downloading some outside encrypting software like TrueCrypt and make my wallet even safier, but before that, I’d like to know exactly, what’s the idea of qt encryption. Also, could some of you point me out the best method to store my own wallet safe?
Thank you very much,
Patryk :)
