Yeah, it supports 6 cards. It is made as a mining motherboard. Here is a newegg link.

Problem getting 5th card mining
I have 4 video cards mining coins with my Biostar H81S2 motherboard and I am unable to get the 5th card running. This board should support 6 video cards. When the 5th card is hooked up I get this message in the device manager properties for this card “Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)”.
I have tried moving the card to a different PCI-e slot, and have tested all 5 cards individually. I have also tried re-installing 3 different versions of video card drivers. My next thing to try was a BIOS update, but I would rather stay away from that if I can. Is there anything else to try first?

Chris, great job again, I’d like to echo what Tuck said. You come across really well on video perhaps much better than you realise. I’d love to see more video from you; you have the credibility and charisma to carry it off for sure. I’ve watched you on a few of these shows and you’re streets ahead of the other guests and often thought you should be hosting the show :)
I’d agree. You seemed the most knowledgeable and did very well at explaining your viewpoints. Plus I like British accents, so that’s good too. ;)

RE: Marketplace Features Requests

Bug fix on the market today, the ability to cancel sales was only supposed to be there until the buyer had entered delivery information. However this option was there until the item was marked as dispatched.
This was actually helpful to me when I had bidders that were not paying for an item. I could cancel the sale and re-list the item. I have had to do this 2 times before and was planning on canceling another later today if the escrow account has not received payment. If that is no longer possible:
Feature Request:

Have sales timeout and cancel after 24 hours if a payment has not been made.
Feature Request (minor issue):

Extra email setting for receiving emails for auctions that ended, but will be auto re-listed. I’d prefer to not get emails that my auction just ended if it is being auto re-listed.

The number of items shown on the front page has been limited to five per user. This prevents sellers with a large number of auctions from dominating the front of the site.
Great improvement!

Embeding Youtube videos into Marketplace listings
Is there a way to embed a Youtube video into a Marketplace listing?
I have tried a couple of ways, but could not get it working.

RE: List of Feathercoin FPGA/ASIC miners
I’d love to see power compulsion added to the list for each ASIC. At this point that is the only advantage they have over gpu’s. Price per KH/s is no better, and they are worthless once they are outdated (unlike gpu’s which retain value for gaming).

I would do both if possible. It’s what I’m doing right now.How much money are you looking to invest?
What computer would you be putting the card into? What PSU is in the computer?
I’m planning to invest another $200-300 on a graphics card. My current PSU is a 550W 80+ bronze with a HD 7870.
With $200 a Radeon 270 is a pretty good bet, with an expected khash of 425-450. Newegg has this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150641) 7850 for $169 with a $30 mail-in-rebate. I have 2 7850’s that I get almost 400khash from each.
With that power supply I would not get a 270X or another 7870. Either of those would put quite a draw on the PSU and you could risk instability.
There isn’t really a good card for the $300 range at the moment.
-
RE: WTB Vid Card for mining FTC
Your best bet in that price range is going to be a Radeon 6850.
You may be able to snag a 6870 or 7850 if you can find a good deal or if you can put a few extra dollars into it.
6850 would mine around 250-275 khash/s
6870 would mine around 300-350 khash/s
7850 would mine around 350-400 khash/sI have 2 7850’s mining at 390 khash/s each.

RE: 2x Gigabyte r9 290 settings
I have one 290 in my rig and I have gotten the best results with stock clocks. I’m getting right around 800 khash/s with it. Stock clocks and undervolted.

RE: Radeon 7850's New on Newegg for $120 After Rebate
Just got these mining yesterday. I’m getting 390 khash/s each @ --gpu-engine 1120 and stock memory speeds.
I saw one person with 412 khash/s with --gpu-engine 1200. I haven’t been brave enough to try that high on the gpu clock yet.
I’m very happy with the $/hash ratio @ 390 khash/s.

Radeon 7850's New on Newegg for $120 After Rebate
Just bought 2 of these. I would expect 350+ Khash/s from these.

RE: About my two r9 290x cards ..
downloaded afterburner … set fans at 63% and now cards read temps 86 and 78 … without any changes to my cgminer crypt my cards are hashing 700Gh/s … i am going to test the cgminer scypt changed to I -20 i am getting between 800 and 900 Gh/s at temps 86 and 78 … looks like afterburner is the win. thanks!
800 - 900 hash rates is nice. I get right around 800 with my 290.
I forgot to mention I believe you need the latest beta version of Afterburner to have access to voltage on the 290 series. I’m running 3.0.0 Beta 17.

Best way to get USD out of BTC-e?
I have been trying to figure out a safe way to get USD out of BTC-e without paying the 7% paypal fee.
The best I came up (but have not tried yet) was to not get USD out of BTC-e directly, but rather buy BTC, transfer them to my wallet, then use CampDX to get USD.
Anyone have a better option?

RE: Want to go cpu mining to gpu...what card...where how much?
How much can you afford to spend? The cheapest I have looked into are 7850’s. I have found them used for $100 a couple of times and would expect about 350 khash/s. If you want to spend less than that you are talking about an older card. I have tried to stay away from them mainly because I worry about the reliability.

RE: Any voltage unlocked r9 270?
I’ve been hoping MSI Afterburner or a similar program will unlock voltage control, no luck yet.
I have a Powercolor 270X (non devil version) and cannot control the voltage.

RE: About my two r9 290x cards ..
Feathers is right on with the 290X’s. I am running a 290 (non X verison) and I’ve had to do the same thing. Kept at stock fan speed, the card underclocked itself to stay at 95C. I am running MSI Afterburner to control clock speeds, fan speeds, and voltage.
I have my fan run between 55%-63% to keep the card in the low to mid 80C’s. I believe stock on the 290X is 40% fan speed in quiet mode and 47% fan speed in uber mode (that small physical switch on the cards controls which mode it is in - make sure the computer is off to switch modes). In uber mode the card should be able to keep closer to it’s max 1000Mhz boost clock, but upping the fan curve in MSI Afterburner would make it even better.
I can help with MSI Afterburner settings if you need it. I’m sure the Sapphire Trixx program is similar. I chose MSI Afterburner because it has voltage controls for the 290 series (undervolting also helps a lot with heat). I’m not sure if Trixx does.

Hello. Just joined.
Hi, my name is Ken and I live in Pennsylvania, USA.
I’ve been mining Feathercoin for about 6 weeks now. Mining started just for profit, but has turned into more interest in crypto currencies than I thought I would have. I mainly choose Feathercoin because I have read it has a dedicated following and at the current price I feel it is very undervalued.
My mining is about 1250 khash/s. Roughly 20-25 coins a day.
