So far as I understand it FTC is almost identical to LTC except for the eventual total number of coins. I’m fairly new to crypto and FTC but why is it needed to bring both LTC and FTC in line with BTCs code, which reading between the lines is what the original post seems to imply.
Further to this, as a community are we not trying to be bigger, better and stronger than other alt currencies? This seems to me we’re the also rans and changing our code in line with theirs. Is there no scope to innovate within the code from our point of view.
I don’t have any programming knowledge so if what I’ve said is complete $hit then I apologise - ill go back under my rock now.
If someone can explain it further great!
Mowing the lawns, water changes and maybe a BBQ on Monday.
I managed to enable OpenCL using the 11.10 drivers. No matter what miner I use I can’t get it to successfully accept shares. More investigation required!
Not sure if this is the type of thing you had in mind?
What about the most random/interesting place to see the feathercoin logo? We’re all from different parts of the world, from varying climates, cities, we all have places to go and in todays technological age never far from a digital camera or other device with photo capabilities. It could be fun.
If Someone could provide a decent image of the feathercoin logo (say A5 for arguments sake). Then all you’d have to do is take a photo, preferably with your forum username in the photo for legitimacy purposes.
Imagine seeing the FTC logo in the pit lane of the Monaco GP, at the Champions League Final, in the foreground against the Grand Canyon, on the Great Barrier Reef. Okay, so some of those events transpire prior to 1st June.
This fulfils two purposes;
1. We get more registered forum members
2. The photo, the username, the subject and the contest all get associated to this site and feathercoin.
Welcome, another UK miner here. too.

Have approached BitBargain about adding FTC as a traded currency, could I get some back-of-beermat numbers of UK users here who would use BitBargain if it was available?

I’m in!
Anyone know if this is possible. Trying to utilise an old PC with a couple of 4870s. I know AMD removed openCL support for XP from 12.1 onwards, just wondering if I can somehow get it to work or someone has the old drivers with openCL?
Cheers

1. Was mining @ 120kh/s, now mining at ~450kh/s 24/7, hoping to be mining at ~700kh/s 24/7 in the next few weeks.
2. Generally willing to help with anything - have some ideas for projects i’d like to share in the future.
3. Currently trying to sell what little BTC i have for FTC.
4. Spreading word of FTC.
Is this still ongoing? Can you share the SS if you need more help with this?
How are people getting their GBP into FTC? I can’t seem to find a straight forward/simple method (other than eBay ofc). I’m trying to supplement my meagre 450kh/s with some flat currency purchases.
Well written Kevlar - thats some CV you’ve got there.
If we know the identity of the miner/pool who mines the bounty blocks can we get the 1st post updated?
Is it Christmas already? Cheers Justabitoftime!

I would really like it if there was a mailing list I could subscribe to when Feathercoin updates. Just to make sure I never forget it, now now nor in the future.

I second Christian.
Nice Bushstar! Reads well to me.
Could we also get an exchange ticker on there for current FTC value?
