RE: \[ANN\]\[FTC\]\[1% Fee\] ypool.net - Extra reward for next few blocks
hi,
I just wanted to announce that we reworked the whole FTC mining part of our pool and are currently doing a big relaunch.
We also put up some rewards for the users that mine the first few blocks:
1st block, 165 FTC
5th block, 165 FTC
10th block, 82 FTC
15th block, 82 FTC
20th block, 82 FTC -
\[ANN\]\[FTC\]\[1% Fee\] ypool.net - Extra reward for next few blocks
Hi,
I want to announce our new Feathercoin pool. We entirely coded the software from scratch as a learning project and also because the already existing open-source pool software is rather messy and not as performant as it could be.
However, to make it more familiar we tried to keep our user interface close to the ones of already existing pools. After some extensive testing I think ypool.net is now ready for the masses.Currently it is not much more than a mining pool for Feathercoin, but we plan on adding support for multiple coins and later add the possibility to trade coins with other users. We also have a few other ideas but I don’t want to promise anything yet.
Short facts:

High-performance and reliable

1% fee

Proportional payout (might be changed if it doesn’t work well)

In active development, expect improvements every few days

Low payout limit of only 2 FTC

Custom low-latency protocol (xpt)
Link:

Thanks if you are giving this pool a try.– jh00

Hi all
Hello, my name is ‘jh’ but I usually have to use ‘jh00’ because 2 letters is just too short for an username ;)
I knew about the Bitcoin system for a long time but then somehow lost interest. Recently a friend told me about Feathercoin, which again made me curious. So I started mining, using and trading FTC. I also took a look at many other alternative currencies. To me it appears the FTC developers actually care about it and not use it as a fast way to make money like it is the case for most other alt currencies. Thats why I prefer FTC.
