I’ve had my rig going for the last day mostly to test, and now I need to power down and install some updates. Will I lose all of my hard work if I do? I’ve read that on some pools you’ll lose any shares contributed if the block is solved if you’re not currently mining.

Mining FTC on YiiMP and have questionsposted in Newbies - New Members Must Start Here
All,
I’ve been mining on YiiMP for about 3 hours now and within about 20 minutes I had 3+ FTC. All of a sudden I’m not seeing that number rise. Nothing for the past 2.5 hours. Is that because a block hasn’t been found in that time?
