blocknotify - yiimp
I’m trying to setup a pool on yiimp and having issue with blocknotify. Yiimp is in one server while feathercoin daemon is in another server.
in server A ip: 1.1.1.1 yiimp is installed
in server B ip: 2.2.2.2 daemon is installed
Even though block has found however blocknotify doesn’t seem to work, I doubt because feathercoin.conf file is in daemon’s B server while actual pool script is on server A, there might be execution issue? How to fix it?
Here is the line I added to daemon’s feathercoin.conf file at server B: 2.2.2.2
Code:
blocknotify=blocknotify 1.1.1.1:4233 308 %sany idea why blocknotify isn’t working? Do I need to make any changes in above line to make blocknotify work from daemon’s B server to intimate server A.
PS. I’m using Linux, Ubuntu 16.04.3

RE: How to debug feathercoind node while mining
Answering my own question in case of linux
for detailed debug report, in feathercoin.conf, there should be debug=1
run this command for real time debug,. to exit, Ctrl + C
tail -f ~/.feathercoin/debug.log -
RE: any GPU miner to solo mine feathercoin/neoscrypt for linux?
@acidd I tried and compiled nsgminer on 5 different machines and result is the same, I’m using ubuntu 16.04.3 lts version. Blocks are found but actually they are never materialized. I’ve reported to developer at Github: ghostlander (John Doering) he’s still looking into it I guess.
Even I’ve discussed same issue with Guncoin’s Peter Bushnell and he told me he ask sent a message to John Doering. Peter Bushnell said “The miner may not like Version Bit blocks. I’ll check with the developer.”, so he did report to nsgminer developer.
Perhaps you can test yourself but use GPU version, it might help to find out what’s going wrong.

RE: any GPU miner to solo mine feathercoin/neoscrypt for linux?
Well I’ve tried nsgminer with guncoin, phoenixcoin and Feathercoin. NSGminer version compiled for CPU works fine, however GPU which is by default, Pool, Information it tells block is solved, however check account there is no clue of any transaction.
these are the paramenters i’m using both with cpu and gpu, cpu nsgminer works fine and solved block is credited (guncoin).
./nsgminer -o http://127.0.0.1:9337 -u rpcusername -p rpcpassword --coinbase-addr=xxxxxxxxxxxxfeathercoin adddressxxxxxxxxxxxxx -D --verbose

any GPU miner to solo mine feathercoin/neoscrypt for linux?
I’ve tried NSGminer GPU but it’s somehow not working well even block solved but not crediting to account, seems some glitch with nsgminer.
So any recommendation for solo miner that has coinbase GBT support for neoscrypt will be appropriated?

RE: How to debug feathercoind node while mining
@AcidD Yes, we can debug from nsgminer or ccminer but they are client side. Is there a way we can check node side if blocks are being submitted etc.?

RE: Solving a Block with more than one miner connected to same daemon
@wellenreiter It’s neat and clear answer. Yep it was about solo mining.

What command should I exactly use to transfer funds?

RE: Solving a Block with more than one miner connected to same daemon
in pools shares matters but I’m talking in general private pool when let’s say I’ve 10 machines mining and they are connected to one daemon node. Are those 10 solving one block together work is divided or each one of them is assigned same block but to solve on their own?
-
RE: Solving a Block with more than one miner connected to same daemon
My question isn’t regarding payout system rather to understand the theory, how does it function when one daemon has more than one miner, from your answer what I understood is each miner is solving the same block but own their own? It’s not like pieces of work is divided to miners who are connected to same daemon, to concurrently solve the problem (block) together?
