Did you order the risers from XRP?
So you plan on using 3x R9 280X on a 1000watt akasa PSU?
I have 3x R9 280x Vapor-X and an Akasa 1000w too. But I havent used them together yet, not sure if enough Wattage!
Im currently stuck between getting a fourth R9 and a second 1000w to build 2 rigs in 2 computer cases that both got 2x R9
Or just building a rig using 3x on a 1000w, because this summer they wont be able to run in a case anymore, way too hot

1000w is more than enough if it has 12v single rail or enough Amp pr rail if multirail.
That Enermax Maxrevo is multirail with 20A pr rail. so it works.
i do however recommend powered risers cause the 24pin contact is crap and will burn if you draw all the extra necessary power from there to the pci-e interfaces

This is the website for the PSU. Akasa 1000watt. The website tells me 83A on the 12v rail. Am I correct?
Will this thing power 3 R9 280X Vapor-X’s?
My calcs tell 3x250w leaving 250 watt for the i5 3570K system which should be perfect right?
