Hello Minerphil! Nice to see yours is working!!!
Go to Ebay and look for “8020 aluminum” if you’d like to roll your own…Should only cost you around $120 for each open frame with great airflow…
Here is one that I build recently
I have 4 rigs and they are all pointing to the same worker. If you are concerned about which worker belongs to which rig, then you can use Team Viewer. Team Viewer is free and gives you so much more control…I highly recommended it!

Here’s mine when I opened the case recently to find out why my GPU had stopped working:

Is that a gun?? WTF?
So that’s where all of my (dust) bunnies went…Finder’s reward coming!
Here are my babies…

I was just about to say the exact same thing! Why would a mining rig need a gun anyway? ???
Gun is for rig protection…And where is that baseball bat???

thoughts on this one? i have been using it for about a month and its fine on the single rail settings.
Thats a multi-rail PSU, no ? So is there a way of running them on single-rail settings ?
you got me confused there.
Dip switch 3 and 5 on the unit will make the PSU single rail if they are are both on

Since I just got my rig up and going, I have been thinking about this issue as well. I am only at about 575 kh per card (MSI R9 280x) and would love tweak things up to at least 650 or so. (but also a bit concerned about trying to find the middle ground between really pushing the equip., temps, etc since I would love for this investment to keep churning away for an extended period) I just don’t know enough about what I am doing yet, so plan to proceed with caution. One of my cards was hitting 81c, but once I got a small fan today, it is running about 78. Is 80 a good threshold to stay below?
From what I have read: 75 to 80 should be fine. My Cgminer is set up for a temp target of 80 right now for all three rigs
I think some of us are all looking for the best hash possible without thinking too much about the longevity of the GPU. They are so expensive and if one goes tits up before ROI then we are SOL…We will end up loosing the hash while waiting for the replacement GPUs - Talk about a double whammy! Your thoughts?

They should be taking pre-orders within days…None of these Scrypt Asic produced any hard proof so far…
I have the same issue but I am not too concerned about it. The motherboard should not be a problem as mine was brand new…It could just be the way the thermal paste was applied during manufacturing…
There is no known cure…Once a miner, always a miner ;D
It’s so basic that I actually missed it on one of my builds! No worries and good luck mining!
Here is how I do it…
Go to desktop and right click on mouse and pick “personalize”
Then click on “screensaver”, then “change power settings” then “change plan settings”
Tick the “put computer to sleep” box and change the time to “never” then save changes
Should be good to go!
I started messing around with a Commodore 64 and never stopped since…Nice to be a member of this very informative forum!
