@Lizhi, is there an English version of your website? - http://www.ftc-c.com/
I’m assuming it is yours…Is there a built in translator? I don’t read Chinese!

@Wellenreiter said in Launch Feathercoin Wallet Setup Installer Programs:
Install packages for main linux distributions can be found on https://software.opensuse.org/package/feathercoin
This is also linked on www.feathercoin.com in the download sections.
Download sections?
There is no download section on www.feathercoin.com home page!Nothing under “featured tools” in terms of wallet clients.
Even under “Resources” which states “Feathercoin Wallets” redirects you to https://www.feathercoin.com/#dls which is basically the same page with no option to download anything. One of you DEV’s really need to request that the site owner hands over control of the domain or the website to a more active member of the community as these stagnant pages are not encouraging for the future growth of this currency.

Our 0.11.2.3 is ready , http://www.ftc-c.com/pack4/feathercoin-setup-0.11.2.3.exe
I don’t think it’s a good idea for me to download another one of your latest, greatest test projects. The last time I fell for it. 0.9.5 was supposed to be the next official release.
@Wellenreiter said in Storing Feather Coins:
We are about to make 0.9.3 the official release now.
Wallet version 0.9.5 will come next as official release, nevertheless anybody can download the sources and compile it. :)
You all abandoned it. I read Wellenreiter make a comment about those crazy 0.9.5 wallets still out there. Well it’s the DEVS’ fault…they are all probably non-coders stuck like me.
Also, I read Wellenreiter rebuke you for releasing too many software wallets without the necessary testing and pushing wallet upgrades without due diligence taking place.
On a personal note…I think that you are GREAT at what you do…but you are a little reckless.
By the way, who are you preparing these wallets for?
You want Devs to upgrade, you want miners to upgrade and other tech savvy guys as well. What about the regular Joe?Mass adoption cannot happen without the regular man on the street. You must have basic software to attract that market.

RE: [Guides] How to compile Feathercoin Core 0.11.1 on Windows
@wrapper said in [Guides] How to compile Feathercoin Core 0.11.1 on Windows:
You will be “upgrading” to 0.9.3.1.
Is that sarcasm?
Anyway, the 9.5 wallet says “Downgrade”!I won’t be going to 0.9.3.1 unless you guys build an installer file.
Here’s an interesting question for you wrapper:
If you have a “normal” grandmother who wants to store her Feathercoins, are you going to suggest that she compile the binaries on github? LOL!!! -

Are you volunteering to help? If not, it’s a bit much being called lazy when members are contributing their time for free.
Imagine how you would feel if you were Lizhi, after doing all that work and then read your comment in his thread?
It is also against the forum guidelines as personal comments are classed as trolling …
Volunteer?
I already did…I possess one of the highest valued FTC accounts!I would like Lizhi to read my comment, that is exactly why I posted it. He has been hopping from one wallet to another, yet he hasn’t created a proper installer for any of them except Version 9.5 - a wallet that he supposedly created, yet it seems that it has been an abandoned project. I use this wallet. The wallet keeps asking me to downgrade to 9.3.1 but their is no installer for it…only “builds” or “compilations”. I am not a coder, how do you expect me to compile one of your incomplete, unfinished wallets?
If you want me to switch, then build something that a non-coder can install.
Anyway, I’ll stay on 9.5 until I see an installation for 9.3.1 -
Launch Feathercoin Wallet Setup Installer Programs
Even though I keep reading about all the progress being made concerning the coding of new wallets, there is no progress on automatic software installer programs to setup and launch these wallets. Without this, I don’t think Feathercoin has a chance of becoming mainstream!
Just saying…now start coding those Setup.exe programs.

RE: [Guides] How to compile Feathercoin Core 0.11.1 on Windows
Where’s your guide to download a Setup.exe?
Are you guys lazy or something?
You need .exe files if you want to go mainstream!
Nobody cares to download a “build” or compile squat unless they are a Dev or a Quenk! -
RE: [Dev] Feathercoin version 0.9.3.1 Official release & Feedback
Where do I download the Setup.exe file for the official wallet?
And why isn’t there one on the Feathercoin.com homepage? -
RE: Feathercoin Fork
It is almost 3 weeks since I asked the question and received an answer but today I just launched my 0.9.5 wallet only to see a message stating: “Downgrade to 0.9.3.1”
So I’m asking again if it is still OK to stay at 0.9.5 so long as I’m not Pool Mining or Solo Mining?
-
RE: Feathercoin Fork
@Wellenreiter said:
Safe clients are 0.8.7.3, 0.9.3.1 and 0.9.5
no
According to Ghostlanders observations 0.8.7.3 is more effective for pools than the 0.9.3.1 and 0.9.5For for all pool operators and miners who to solo mining on a client with version 0.9.5 please change your client to 0.8.7.3 or 0.9.3
I’m not a pool miner nor am I solo mining. I am running version 0.9.5 Do I have to downgrade as well?

I’d be happy to broker this exchange, if you’re worried about getting scammed. Do let me know. :)

RE: Selling: 1,000 TE Credits
Did you know that EasyHits4U is the world’s biggest traffic exchange?
What are you people waiting for?
Buy from me already! The credits will be sent directly into your very own account via the messaging system as the only way to transfer credits from one account to another is if a referrer wants to send credits to his referrals.
