Hello all,

Just taking a moment to introduce myself and a bit about why I have joined the feathercoin forum.

I have been looking into crypto currency for a while, and the single point I wanted more than most others issues is having a UK based organisation in which to get involved.

I hope I can learn and input into the project as time goes on.

Most of your conversation on this thread is well above my level of understanding, but thank you for having it. I’m sure I have picked up a few bits of understanding from it. Hopefully it will make it easier once I start to look into the mining aspect of feathercoin.

Thanks for the welcome on my first post.

Before looking to get involved with feathercoin, I’d like to mention a few thoughts I have on the subject and what I want to do in the crypto world. You opinions on them would really be appreciated and hopefully helpful for my longer term aims.

So far with my limited knowledge on the subject of crypto what I am taking an interest in is:

I want to deal in a crypto-currency and platform that is UK based or created.
I want a crypto-currency that is used as coinage in the real world not just for the markets.
I would consider creating my own crypto-currency and have it backed by land purchase to keep it stable in the real world.
I have seen the idea of using websites to do the mining and think it a good idea. (JSE coin).
I want a crypto-currency that when I introduce it to my website and contacts that will be the only one I will deal with in the long term.

I’d really like to hear your opinions on these points to help me formulate a future in the crypto world.
