I have approx. 250 khash dedicated 24 hours/day and an additional 200 12 hours/day to keep FTC alive until it’s next iteration. I’ve had to bounce between the give-me-ftc pool and the wemineftc pool as I occasionally lose connection with one of them or the other. I only wish I could dedicate 15 mhash (yes MEGA hash) like nutnut does. Man, I’d like to take a look at his rigs.

Edit: A question… Does anyone know if it’s more efficient to work multiple GPU’s (in the same computer) under the same worker or is it better to have each GPU on it’s own worker?

This is the only currency I will be directing my GPUs/CPUs towards for the foreseeable future. I’m glad I got in early enough to watch it grow, and will spread the word to friends and family. I’d love to see FeatherCoin become a success.

I’ve always built my PCs with either development or gaming in mind, but I do see myself building a rig strictly for mining pretty soon. I believe I’ve found my next hobby/addiction.

I was looking into [url=http://www.vircurex.com]www.vircurex.com[/url], and from what I can tell, you can buy/sell FTC for USD, but have to use an intermediary (AurumXchange) in order to fund your vircurex account. It seems similar to the procedure ratm69 described for mtgox. However, it does appear that vircurex does allow FTC purchases and sales now.

It seems a business opportunity exists for crypto currency purchases with credit/debit cards… Hmmmmm, must get coding!

I’ve been reading a lot about virtual currencies lately, and decided to get in on the action. There’s so many now, I couldn’t decide which one to try until I started reading these forums. Everyone here seems friendly and helpful, and it’s nice to see a good community being formed.

From what I’ve read, a lot of folks are not mining FTC at the moment because of difficulty re-targeting (which honestly, I don’t quite understand yet. I’m still learning.), but I expect to be here for the long haul if the community stays as warm and helpful as I’ve seen so far.
