Feathercoin needs a SR/Atlantis type of TOR service. Discuss

I hate to say it but, if “someone” were to create a Silkroad/Atlantis type of website that uses FTC, it would generate a huge market for FTC. People would flock to FTC for the price stability it can provide in between transactions and for the speed in transactions.Another idea would be to approach the owners of SR/Atlantis and see if they would implement FTC as a payment option.
Discuss.
I think this would be the best way forward for feathercoins.
I sell digitals goods and even with a 40% discount I only managed to get one person to use Bitcoins and he got them off ebay.
People just don’t understand them. Even if they managed to get funds onto MT Gox it is still difficult to convert the $ to Bitcoins. I tried to sell 7 BTC on Gox the other day and accidentally bought 7 BTC and I’m an experienced trader.Anyway back to what I was saying. From my experience most people are used to credit cards. Its as if they decide they want X. And then look for a merchant who sells X and takes credit cards. Most of my customers input money into either paypal or something else and then send it to me, so even though I don’t take credit cards, by proxy I actually take them.
IMO SR etc is responsible for the popularity of Bitcoins because, If you sell drugs you can’t take payments with credit card proxy’s so you have to use Bitcoins and the junkie who wants a fix wont find a dealer who takes credit cards, so they must learn how to operate a wallet etc or do without the fix :)

There was, back in the days, a highly elite BBS named Mt. Olympus. It’s users were a small but highly active group of warez traders that dealt with nothing older than 5 days, and getting access to this place was considered an honor and one that you had to work for.
I find it to be only fitting that such a revival of the name would be for illegal activities: To do anything else would be to disgrace the memory.
You have my interest, and my coding ability. Make use of it, because this is one place I can contribute a lot to. I won’t lead the project, but if someone wants to take the reigns in terms of project management and site design, I’ll code it up for feather-peanuts (that’s what I call .0001 Feathercoins).
Why is everybody confirming the myth that the only people who need anonymity are doing something wrong?
Can’t we have tor sites for the average person?
We’re not. “Illegal” isn’t the same as “wrong”. I don’t think anyone is debating that people get their prescription drugs off Silk Road and Atlantis, which is illegal, but maybe not wrong. I mean there’s plenty of legitimate reasons to use tor besides tricking coin faucets into giving you more than your daily allowance and buying cocaine, right?
…right?

Hmm.

Getting weed is harmless enough. And is also legal in some states. No reason people in other parts can’t make use of an anonymity service to buy stuff.

Hey and I’ve got a still I can put to good use.
Cheap illicit hooch, Klenkers Own, with only a 45% chance of containing methanol!!!
It’s a good idea :) Hell since I stopped drinking, I have to find some use for it :)
I remember the days of bulliton boards for the old pirated wares… first one I ever got on, Treasure Island for anyone in Western Aus back in the 80’s… haha had to meet the sysop in real life and get initiated. Or we just got drunk, either way, I was on board.
Throw the birds in the air, and let the feathers fall where they may, I say!!
