More reliable would be a weighted average too. But I like it thanks. In fact the more maths geekery around here the better. Are you a maths geek?

I’ll add this. To convert prices BTC or USD prices into FTC you can do the following.

For BTC
Cost in BTC / BTC-e value for FTC/BTC = Total amount of FTC

For USD
(Cost in $ / BTC $ price) / BTC-e value for FTC/BTC = Total amount of FTC

I’m going to setup an API which can be queried for the total amount in Feathercoin when queried with BTC or FTC.
