Guide for Windows Pool-mining?!
-
I´m new to feathercoin and i read much but nothing works and i don´t find for what i search.
The Tutorials that i found are old and/or outdated. Can someone help me with the Setup?
Win7 64bit.
2x R9 390
1x R9 280xand
4x R9 390I want to Test the FTC mining (for a while) on my small rig and when i´m happy with it i roll it up to the second rig.
I downloaded the Wallet.
Is it normal that the sync needs an eternity?i played around with a few miners but the won´t start or hang after a few seconds.
Thanks for the help.

The sync takes awhile, maybe a day or so to finish.
Use NSGMiner, its the best option.Ive never had luck solo mining FTC to I setup my own P2Pool node. Its public and you can use it if you want. IP is in my sig. Its located east coast USA so it may not be a good fit if youre in another country.

Moved thread to the mining area.

@Dr.House86
If you can tell which miners you are using, I may be able to give you the parameters you need to use to get a miner running. Also it would be helpful, if you can tell, whether you tried to do solo mining or pool mining.
@AmDD I’m not sure, if the NSG miner supports long-poll. Long-poll is required for solo mining, as the wallet doesn’t support the stratum protocol.

i want to mine in a pool (Coinotron works for me best with ETH).
i have tested all miners, nsg and so on, nothing works, the cmd close itself after e few seconds or he didn´t start at all.Edit:
Now i run on coinotron with 2x R9 390 and 1xR9 280x with nsgminer.
Command:timeout 15
nsgminer.exe --neoscrypt -g 1 -w 128 -I 16 -o stratum+tcp://coinotron.com:3337 -u DrHouse86.Test -p TestBut i dont know if it have to look this way.
It seems that the 280x have a problem with that, the miner says “sick” and it won´t work…
Double Edit:
after a short period the computer decided to reboot^^
i think the GPU settings don´t match with the old ETH settings…

Id start by lowering the intensity a bit. Maybe lower GPU and RAM clocks too if you are OC’d. Then once you have it mining you can slowly raise these to get more hash.
-
I have it^^
I run 3xR9 390 with corevoltage -50 and stock coreclock of 1050
I get (the miner says) 550-600kh/s for each card.
It runs for an hour stable, i let it run and look if it´s really stable and than tweak after a while. -
Thats pretty good hash rate, nice!
