I have just began with FTC mining, with W10 and a R9 295X2 8Go.
With a simple command line I m getting 1-25% of invalid shares with nsgminer, with 1MH/s
With sgminer, I reach 1.4Mh mais with 30-40 % of invalid shares. How can I reduce that %age ? which precise command line can I try ?
I tried to modulate every args but with no true gain. . .
1.38 MH/s 139.81 KH/s(9.22%) 0.11 S/s

Fell to 1M1, with 100k of invalid.
Finally switched from theblockfactory to miningpool and am now 1,230 Mh with 0 invalid…
p2pool is empty ( only 5-10 miners ) so did not event tried …

@dirt yes, the p2pool looks relatively empty. This is partially caused by the fact, that it is a distributed pool, so the number of miners per pool node is small, but you need to count the miners on all pool node to get the total number of active miners on a p2pool.
The better indicator is the global hashrate, which is displayed on eacht p2pool node and reflects the overall pool hashrate, while local hashrate reflects the hashrate on the local node.
The other reason for the lower number of miners on the p2pool is, that many miners want the services of the ‘other’ pools, like auto conversion and more detailed stats.
